I’ve been seeing these types of videos about hygiene and avoided them. Thought it was too personal. But I realized I was being my mom. (She could Neva have an open discussion about these things) Being raised by a generation that did not discuss these things or go in depth about feminine needs. I changed that after God decided it would be a good idea to send me five daughters. Glad I finally clicked on a video. Young girls need these videos just to become comfortable having the conversation about feminine hygiene and body care. Great video.
I honestly really love this comment right here because that is exactly why I wanted to film this to begin with. I learned alot about feminine care through media to be honest because I, too, grew up in a household where we didn’t talk about this stuff in depth. There are wipes that are now flushable. They just need to dissolve as easily as toilet paper. You can look up a few reviews on here of wipes that will work.
I’m a sugarist and yes! It’s so much better than hard wax because the hair is removed with the direction of the hair growth so it leaves such a beautiful result as opposed to hard wax they remove it the opposite way and break the hair. The first couple of sessions do hurt because we’re removing hair from the root just make sure to trim and the hair isn’t too long because the sugar will start tugging which is why a lot of girls say it hurts more than hard wax the first time. Hope this helps 💕

Sugaring has changed my life!! It leaves your skin so clean and smooth. It’s also all natural ingredients. You can’t go wrong😊
For period products, my go-to brand is Veeda - ever since trying them, no other natural brand has come close to matching their quality. I mostly use pads/liners, so I can't vouch for their tampon line, but you should give them a try. In my experience, Veeda is typically also cheaper than the other natural brands while still being better quality.
I also love sugaring; after trying it, I never did waxing again. I actually find sugaring to be less painful than waxing (whether with soft or hard wax) and since I have very sensitive skin, I even have less irritation or ingrowns with sugaring. You should definitely give it a try too with someone who's trained in sugaring techniques!
As for avoiding UTIs, the best advice I've gotten from a physician besides lots of water + cranberry juice (and proper hygiene, of course) is sleeping without underwear at least a few times a week, or even more frequently if you're comfortable doing so - I took that advice seriously and haven't had a UTI since then, believe it or not, and that was years ago - it seems that a healthy dose of fresh air is also essential to HER down there too 🤣🙃

Your cramps stopping once you made the switch does not sound crazy at all! Before making the switch to organic products I was a regular midol + Tylenol on day 1 girl. I’ve been med free for nearly 5 years. Truly life changing!

your right about the cramping going away with cotton tampons. i used to hate changing a tampon when i had cramps but not anymore. it makes you wonder what really is in the ones we used to use. and plus i feel cleaning with the cotton ones..

I have been doing Brazilian sugaring since 2018. It’s soooooo worth it in my opinion. It’s painful while you’re getting it done and then the pain is gone. Especially if the person is doing it correctly. My hair has gotten thinner and does not grow back as much. And I don’t get many ingrown hairs thanks to it. Very much recommend it!
Sugaring will change your life! I had laser on my Brazilian and I’m not hairy at all just a little fuzzy. I get sugared every 4 weeks and I love it! Smooth, no bumps, not itchy. My man loves it too :)

I love the results of sugaring down there. I am less prone to ingrown hairs, the hair takes longer to grow back but the application process is more uncomfortable compared to waxing.

I use Dove on my Kitty...Never any issues. I have loved DKNY Cashmere Mist perfume for years. I might have to get the deodorant. Vaseline is a great product for lips, feet, under eyes
Love the Donna Karen deodorant. I have both and both works great!!! Love Lume to in your private area! OMG I thought I was the only one with the Lume Smell but it works great:)! Girrll you are on point with Eucerin too! I use it as a base lotion prior to beginning my layering process.
We are the same babe!! I use dove sensitive for my lady parts and have for YEARS!!! AND the only other thing I will use down there is the VH essentials! I love it and it's affordable....also I do NOT use toilet paper at all!! I gotta be super clean in front AND back!!

I feel like I have to comment 😂 I am from Brazil, and I do my sugar wax, and I wax myself. Exfoliate helps a lot with ingrown hair, but all the shine you see is oil. Because any baby oil (can be the dollar store one) will melt the wax. And that is what they use after your wax. I loved your video ❤
I love these types of video I get to try out new products or add a step I didn’t think I needed into my routine. For the glittery body glow Amrezy stated she spray Eva nyc hair glitter on her body after applying her lotion/ body oil to get so shimmer and she always looks amazing. Sugaring hurts more going on but the removal hurts less than wax to me. Sugaring gives me a nice and super smooth finish, and it doesn’t break the hair. I also have less hyperpigmentation

Sugaring is def the way to go! I use to do hard wax but I’ve switched for a while now and it’s wayyyy better. Recently my wax girl was out of the sugar and I used regular wax that time and I’ve noticed the hair grew back faster as opposed to using the sugar. Sugaring is also more cost effective and natural ingredients. So I’d say go for it for sure.

A simple & Cheap cleanser the get rid of all body odor & will cause no issues with private area is 1TBSP of Apple cider vinegar mix with 8 oz or more water in a squeeze bottle. Shake squeeze on smelly areas wash with non fragrance soap. 😊
I haven't finished watching hut I felt the need to say that I also went through the post birth control horrible phase so I get it but I just listened to a podcast that all women should totally check out about balancing hormones especially after going off birth control. It's called Lightworkers Lounge with Stephanie Powers. The episode is from 4/26 titled: "How to Naturally Balance Hormones & Ditch Birth Control." Hope it helps cuz it sure did help me understand a lot more about hormones and what's going on in my body.

I’ve never tried sugar waxing, but I do get the regular brazilian wax so I can’t compare. I don’t shave down there because that regrowth itch ain’t no joke! 😂😂😂 I only shave my pits and legs because I can easily maintain those areas and haven’t had any ingrown or other issues.

About the pads & tampons subject- the pain is a LOT worse for me too when using those popular top brands. using only cotton ones stopped my pain too! So weird!

I find using baby fragrances/products so normal, in hispanic households at least! we’re spanish and my mom and my grandma have always used these products after the shower and before bed so the bed sheets would smell like that and always reminds me of them 🤍
I don’t normally comment stuff like this but I can attest Lola tampons are the absolute best when I’m leaving the house. Honey pot pads have something like a cooling agent that helps ease my cramps and almost numb my 🐱. I’ve got endometriosis so I’ve got some pretty bad cramps!

I’ve done sugaring as well. I like it a lot. I want to mention the tampons brand Cora (Target), I’ve really been enjoying them. I too use the dove bar soap for my girl down there and never had any irritation. Method body wash and Harry’s razor/gel are my go tos!

Gurl sugaring hurts like hell🤣 the sugar wax pulls on your hair as they put it on. My whole body would swear every-time I went. Like the paper on the bed would dissolve 🤣🤣🤣 I had to go back to hard wax and it hurts way less! Just gotta get past the first wax session! It hurts too but it gets better the more you go 😅
