What the F1 drivers drove to the Dutch GP

- The incredible 2022 Dutch GP at Zandvoort has come to close so it's time to take a look at the F1 drivers roadcars. This weekend in the F1 drivers carpark I saw a great assortment of vehicles including a Mercedes EQC400, Sebastian Vettel's bike and I even caught a glimpse of Mick Schumacher's motorbike. Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz also rocked up once again in some stunning vehicles and the winner from the Dutch GP, Max Verstappen, arrived in the exact same car that he drove to the previous race. I'll also give you a recap of my weekend at the Zandvoort GP taking you into the realm of the F1 behind the scenes . 2:01 Hamilton moved the speakers to reduce the angle of his pit entry. Sky mentioned it in their coverage before the race.

Hey Kym! It’d be so cool to see a video or time lapse of your experience during a race weekend maybe with like a GoPro or something? It’d be amazing to get to see moments like Jos and Max after the Dutch GP from your POV. The photos you get are amazing, it’d be great to see the process of you getting the photos in first person!

Haha yeah I was watching the race and after Max got out of the car to hug his dad, I saw you standing right next to Jos! I thought, “oh no does he have the right lens?” Thought maybe you’d get a super closeup shot like of Carmen when you stood right next to her but then Jos isn’t really the type of guy you’d stick a camera lens centimeters from his face.
4:55 you can actually see Kym's face behind Jos Verstappen.

Might be a long shot however, at 7:39 , you show Lewis' watch showing the time of 8 21, which looks very similar to the mercedes logo. Coinciding with the Wednesday 11th, possibly a reference to the last mercedes championship winning car, the W11?
Just a small theory which may not be right however its what comes to mind when I see it.

Maybe because they will constantly travel around the world. Changing every time is a headache. I changed first 3 times, now I started using a smartwatch. It adjusts automatically with the time zone.

As a photographer / media member for F1 and not a specific team not sure if he is allowed to say. They might consider it bias. Others have said similar things but maybe the fellow Aussie, Ricciardo?
Daniel would be one of his favourites. He is friends with Daniel’s parents since Daniel and his sons attended the same school.
Kym mentioned the connection on his video talking about how he got into F1 photography.

What time and date is wrong because these are automatic watches that required to be on a persons wrist to maintain power. If they were battery powered quartz watches you could set them in March and they could be still long time months and months later. Incredible

Kym we still need a video profile on a lot of the girls in the teams who never get mentioned. From social media to assistants. Red Bull has loads but no one knows who they are.

Hamilton was just practicing for his career after Formula 1. He's going to be a roadie for his favorite band...Tame Impala.
I mean, the Red Bull cans have water in them, the watches aren't actually set, the cars are given to them to drive for the weekend, they're forced to wear sponsored sunglasses during certain races, and their casual clothes are often sponsored brand deals---it's literally all an illusion.
Kim ill take the job of setting the drivers watches it would be tough having to go to all the grand prix but I'm sure I'll cope
LOL @ the watches.. If you'll ever need any more proof those watches are nothing more than marketing.. They do not even bother to set the right time and date on them, haha..

The worst thing about the watches not being set is that luxury watches are supposed to be super accurate telling the time. So if will all the moving around those watches are subjected to, the balance wheels don't get enough spring tension. Those are pretty shit mechanical watches. They are not. It's really that people in the marketing department are knob head that can't even get the products they want to advertise set up right.
I personally don't wear a watch, but when I would I would only wear one that synchronizes to some time transmission.
Nothing is worse than having a clock that indicates the wrong time...

Hey Kym, I was wondering if you're interested to look into the logistics of transporting the cars these drivers are driving to the races? Surely they didn't drive it themselves from race to race (saw Max & Checo flying off in their private jets.)
