Always wash your fruits and vegetables with baking soda and vinegar and even a little lemon.
I’ve never done that. I just rinse them and my family’s never gotten sick

I wish I could keep my thermostat at 67. My hubby had the issue. There were 7 of us to prepare lunches for. Not including parents, but you and my mom were organized. Good job you two.

We as Women already knows We do our share
Our thermostat stays at 62-64. We wear sweaters indide. Our radiators are so warm that anything hotter and the air is unbearably dry and its extremely hot in some places, unbearably hot with these huge radiators. The kids have electric space heaters if they want to use them, and tons of sweaters and blankets. Here in Upstate NY National Grid has gotten so out of control that the delivery fees for our power were almost as much as the Bill at $145... Thats just the Delivery fee. It's disgusting that as tax payers ee pay for all of the power lines and still get charged a delivery fee.

Always a packed lunch. Once a week in high school the Catholic Church across the street had a spaghetti feed for $1.50 so we’d head over there.
It’s crazy to think that meals used to cost $1.50--now you’re lucky to get a canned soda for that price!

Are the kids homeschooled?
Yes, but they are also in a co-op program so the kids can socialize with other kids their age. The co-op has instructors so the kids can do science and other classes that the parents might not have as much experience with, but still a very small class size so everyone gets lots of attention.
