Too bad I wasn't smart enough at the time to see that it was me that she should have been claiming as her best friend. As I was doing for her for years. She left me for him. Now they live happily ever after, and I have found someone better and 8 years running. Also, I got that little push I needed to become the asshole I should have been long ago through it all.
