We used to do this 💩 in the 2000s and it literally made 0 hp on a dyno (on multiple trucks). That piece is there to help distribute air evenly to each cylinder. People claim it makes a difference but the dyno doesn't lie.
Hi there, so hows going the mod? The response i bet is better, in curious about the holes in the blade, does affect in any matter? being the engine cold or hot? Other people fill the holes or just with a dremel removes the edges, i guess maybe the iac is able to control the extra air, the mpg is worse or is the same? And the response is good accelerating from dead?

you did it wrong, now your're going to have a high idle. the rivets need to stay there.

So I've yet to do this because i heard it screws up the cruise control. Is your s10 equipped with cruise & do you know if its been affected?
all you had to do was pull the blade out and then put it back in upside down... people are way overthinking this
