13 YEARS OLD IN THIS PERFORMANCE! Listen, you cannot teach somebody to sing like this. This is a god given gift hands down.
She makes her own clothes. She arranged the music. She’s the total package.
Evidently the members of Queen, heard this and loved it so much that they gave her the rights to her rendition!!!
She actually told her Mother at three years of age after seeing talent show on TV that she wanted to sing for Simon Cowell. This is a child that is recorded singing at eighteen months of age. That was introduced to Jazz by her Grandmother while still in the womb. Tat at age three is seen scrolling through UA-cam looking for Jazz artists to listen to. Age five tells her Mother she wants to sing at the Noble Peace Prize Concert. At six states she wants to be a superstar and sing for the world to show her love. You have much to learn about her as a human. She is so much more than you have seen.

She still goes to school. and I think everyone on her team including the record company (Republic Records), slows down a bit with marketing her fully. I commented on your first reaction to Angelina, and I said she was the best singer I’ve ever heard. You probably thought that was an exaggeration, but you’ll get there. Angelina’s voice can inspire many feelings in you, including tears, but also joy and hope. And what makes her different from so many other singers is that she can move you with ballads, blues, jazz, R&B, and pop. And in addition, Angelina is the best interpreter of lyrics I’ve heard. She is living what she’s singing. Her voice is hypnotizing, and you can see the silence in the audience when she sings. Her next performance on AGT was Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road. It’s spectacular, again mesmerizing the huge audience. Like Bohemian Rhapsody, she gives us a different take on a classic.
One note: she is never nervous. She’s told us that. At some point you need to watch her performances on Norway’s Got Talent, which began when she was 7. She did two Billie Holiday covers, then Summertime and Bang, Bang. You can only shake your head in disbelief. No nerves. @Charles Miller For me, it was Goodbye, Yellow Brick Road. I’m old. I remember hearing that song a thousand times in the 70’s, and for me it was pleasant pop music-but really just music. I never really listened to the meaning of the lyrics until I heard Angelina’s version. And she does that so often. I think songwriters couldn’t be luckier than to have AJ decide to sing their lyrics.
Any rendition performed by Angelina Jordan is a masterpiece, because the way she transform music to beautiful melody full of harmony, plus the softness of her tone voice, and at the same time adding the strenth of her vocals in the right moment; plus her vocal fry, runs, colors, tenderness....Yes and putting all this together in the right place (and you bet she knows very well how to do it) she obtains an art piece like no one else .That is what it makes her unique, and because of this ,Angelina and Only Angelina can beat Angelina.

Guys I've seen her performances soo many times mainly I put a spell on you, but tonight I've heard a couple new ones and have been crying like a baby, your right her wairua or spirit is pure and so innocent and we can feel it. And for a 13 year old to have guts to cover a queen song and completely change it, she doesn't over push anything just feels into the song. Beautiful reaction.!!!

After all the comparison to all the singers are done, she sounds exactly like Angelina Jordan. She is setting a new standard for all upcoming young artists. I'm 66 years old, and I have NEVER heard any other singer, sing with the emotion and feeling this young lady puts in her songs.

All though this was FANTASTIC, she did an just as amazing version of Elton John`s "Goodbye Yellow brick road" in the final. She and her family have been fantastic since her first song at Norway got talent. There must have been some tuff decisions through the years. Her singing meens a lot to me and her angels ( name of her fanbase). She can bring a grey moment into joy and happiness with just some moments of singing, and I`m proud of, and love her for that.

It really can't be overstated how special this girl is. To come out there in front of (in reality) millions of people, and have 2.5 minutes to show them what you can do... that's a big ask for any age, but at just 13, Angelina came out in her bare feet and showed everyone what a legit artist she is. This is the single best performance to ever happen on the AGT stage IMO.

Rusty I was wondering if you know if Angelina has charities she prefers to raise money for. I would be interested to learn. I want to focus more of my comments on her humanitarian efforts. Please look at the comment I left on this video as I would love for the angels to help bring some joy to a talented musician who is down on his luck. All I ask is for people to enjoy his music and help him achieve 1000 subscribers since he and his band are very talented especially considering they are a pandemic band and work remotely.

As a fan that has followed Angelina for a long time before AGT. I had known of her dream to sing for Simon since she was basically a toddler, so when I learned that she was actually going to be on the show back in Oct 2019, it was a very big news. Unfortunately, they were not airing her show until January 2020, so there was 3 months of anticipation. The song she going to sing was a closely guarded secret that couldn't even be pried from the loose lips of reddit users that were at the taping of the show (and believe me I tried). There were many guesses flying around the fan groups but all were just guesses, and nobody really knew what she would sing.
So after all that, when the night finally rolled around for this to air, I was on the edge of my seat. I had heard everything she has ever sung, so I knew that she was going to come out there and kill it, but knowing her insane versatility I had no idea _how_ she was going to kill it... what song will she sing?, what style will she use? Then she comes out there and (with an acapella start) proceeds to lay out her own beautiful interpretation of one of the greatest songs of all time with absolute perfection. This by itself made it my favorite AGT performance of all time.
But then on top of that there was her family in the audience... I had watched so many videos of rehearsal, shows, practices, etc... and the common thread in all of them... her family was always there, always supporting her, always patiently waiting while she worked it out with her various bands. hours, and hours, days, weeks, years of dedication to support this girl's dream. Just pure unconditional love. So at the end of this performance when Hedi hit that golden buzzer, and you see her family jump up, and you see how much emotion is on their faces... well the "special" of that is just something that's hard to even put into words.
So that's why her Bohemian performance will probably always hold the top spot of her AGT shows for me.
...but yeah.... Yellow brick Road and Someone You Loved were awesome too :P
EVERYTIME I hear her sing this song I cry. She sings from her soul and the pain she conveys, especially when she wails after saying she wishes she was never born, touches my heart without fail.
She really is special:) She did some vocal fry show off on her new mic doing Etta's "I'll rather go blind" just as amazing but kinda in the opposite end of this soft and wonderful version of Bohemian Rapsody:) She can do so much:)

I've said this before but it is the only way I can describe it. "Angelina's voice touches your soul and holds in the moment." It is an incredible gift she shares with everyone listening 🎶.
You see a 13y old girl, but she is a full Profi with a well trained voice until over 10 years, she did many gigs with different bands or orchestras. She sang in Seoul in front of 40 thousands peoples without any fears. She told her mum at the age of 5y she was ready to sing in public but have to wait since she was 7y for the NGT competition. She sang Jazz very early and attacked the judges and audience with her first performance.
Her words.. Singing is like breathing for me and we can hear it. And her musically talent in songwriting and arrangements is amazing and her personality is always shining over all
Her family has protected her childhood over the years and she is now ready for more. She needs now more promotions for her coming new album. Maybe we see her again on AGT as a guest star. Heidi has visit her and promote her last song 7th Heaven 🎶💕💃

This was thr biggest thing in her life and sang for thousands and thousands and to one of the biggest people in music and millions on tv. So a part of me was she probably had a ear piece just to be sure. Why risk it. But since then iv heard she has perfect pitch and im leaning more towards that she diddent have a key in her ear..
You guys are truly music aficionados and music lovers. You picked up that her voice sounds like a combination of several divas, and you could Mariah Carey and Amy Winehouse. She has covered them all in onw way or another and has incorporated, NOT COPIED, their skills. Her voice has an amazingly rich resonance that simply soothes the soul.

Angelina actually was on America's Got Talent the champions just once. It is a show where they invite champions from the other countries and also those who might have placed second or third in the competition in years past. So only the best of the best compete.
I would encourage you to go back and watch her four Norway's Got Talent performances. You will see her at 7 years old with all the talent and potential.

She's been singing since before age 2. There are tons of videos on UA-cam. She probably thought Simon was a big deal from watching AGT. So happy she did not sign with him.
With 4 years she want to go to NGT the first time, but her parents said no, so they get a vocal coach for her and with 7 years they let her go.
She is a sweetheart! I had the pleasure of speaking to her in the beginning of this year and connected on a professional basis. Unfortunately we lost contact. Hopefully we can link again. Endless blessings to her always.

Angelina won Norway's got talent when she was 7 years old Her younger years before age 13 she was watched over by her mother (Sara) and her Uncle who just wanted her to grow up normal. Her mother and uncle Turned down almost 90% of all requests for her to perform but even so from age 7years to 12 years old or so, she has been all over the world (Mother never more than a breath away) Angelina has produced over 130 covers, and she makes all of them her own, all of which will astound you. New people to Angelina get sucked down this road of experience not believing what they're hearing her excellent vocals and unique way of singing, Angelina is a master at music structure her ability to show absolute recognition to a cover while she makes it her own. Angelina writes her own music and produces it. Angelina's mother is Norwegian, her father is from Sweeden The grandmother on her mother's side is from Iran and her grandfather (recently deceased) from Japan both grandparents are very involved with Angelina's growing up, Angelina's song a million miles is about losing her grandfather.

I love how all of us who have been captured by this Angel are so happy and proud of Angelina, like she were our own child. And I believe she is...this gift was put here for all of us, and it is so joyful to watch.
Thanks for another great reaction to the one-and-only Angelina. Many musicians (and those of us down a notch who merely "play" an instrument or sing a little) have to focus quite a bit on proper pitch and rhythm. Angelina's giftings and her hard work and hundreds of hours of listening to iconic musicians allows her to not fret about those matters (she says she is never nervous singing as it is like breathing to her and 'who gets nervous breathing'). Her jazz knowledge and aptitude allows her to bend notes and timing to her purposes (as she demonstrates often). That confidence and fearlessness allows her to focus on delivering (as you saw again here, especially Asia) the emotional message of the song and it is beautiful to behold. Tears are sometimes the price of admission if AJ is behind the microphone (but no one really minds). You should react to her "Million Miles" original which is dedicated to her late grandfather and to anyone who has lost someone. In it she is intentionally going after your "feels" (Asia might possibly want to bring a tissue). Looking forward to you next Angelina reaction!
"It's almost like her soul is singing to you." BJ, you're right, but there's no "almost" about it. She connects to each of us in that way. For me, in a way that no other singer has. You get her so well. Asia, you're right that there are no words. This performance was my introduction to Angelina. Since then, I have listened to Angelina many times every day. I never get too much of this wonderful human being. You should check out more of her early stuff. Norway's Got Talent at 7/8 (4 songs). Fly Me To The Moon from 8 to 13 (watch her mature over time with the same song), Feeling Good at 10, Stay (Rhianna cover), A Million Years Ago (Adele cover), Shield and What is Life (originals). I remember it like it was yesterday i watched Angelina auditioning for Norways got talent when she was only 7 years old... All of Norway wss stunned... There is a clip of it i think on UA-cam.. She sang gloomy Sunday..

When Angelina said she had wanted to sing for Simon for 10 years, she wasn't exaggerating. There's video of her at 1 1/2, in a frilly baby dress, with a toy microphone, singing Whitney Houston. She actually applied for Norway's Got Talent when she was 5, and they told her she was too young, so she went back at 7. Incredible. I just love watching you two. Speaking of sweet spirits! You're right about Angelina's humility... you can see how she keeps herself quite small... her gestures are quite close to her body, and that's just one indication. Again in this song, that cry at the top of her belt just shoots an arrow into my heart. When I'm feeling down and I know I'm holding a lot of emotion, that cry in her voice makes me cry, and the release of those emotions feels so good. She uses it in Million Miles, as well, and knowing she wrote that to her grandfather who has passed away, just gets me right in the feels. I have loved every reaction to every singer that you two have made, and as you can see, I'm back here, binge watching them.

Angelina can sing any style of music there is. I have tried to find everything she has done and have cried so many times but I am not ashamed in any way, and I am a 71year old man. I Love that beautiful young woman her heart voice is so pure.
Guys, this performance in a musical contest show more resembled a Concert featuring Angelina Jordan. Talk about stealing the show! Everything you said about her is right on.When she sings, she is singing straight to your heart. She's in both your hearts. That can only happen if she sings from her soul and it is exactly what is going on. When she sings to you, you become mesmerized and are in total awe of her. She has been quoted as saying when she sings she goes off to somewhere, a place she can't define, but it's a place that makes her feel so good. She wants to share the love in her heart with the world and that's exactly what's happening. She has no boundaries: Gender, age, color, religion, language, it doesn't make any difference. People love her no matter where they are from. She has thousands and thousands (maybe millions already) of her "Angels" all over the world. She loves us and we love her in return and will always be with her to support her and give her strength to accomplish her mission in life, to make the world a better place to live for all people. I actually had the opportunity to see a clip of her when she was a little girl around the age of three and she was singing oh the blues. I think she was listening to Billie Holiday and she was singing the song you should’ve heard her voice at Three we are looking at a child, a prodigy, developing into, a beautiful young lady that Just amazes you every time you hear her ❤😮
I'm happy to see you again. You both are looking good. Angelina Jordan is 18 here in 2024. Have you heard the EP she dropped last year? She just recently dropped a cover of "If I Were A Boy." a collaboration with Toby Gad who wrote the song and Beyonce made it famous. And she has unofficially performed a new original (Angelina and Toby Gad), called Bad Valentine. MUST LISTEN TO THAT. It's a revelation.
