Super chips have been in the remapping game for years and years. I think they find the perfect balance of increased performance/driveability against engine and drivetrain longevity. This is why you don't see them offering remaps with the massive power gains that other remappers offer. Thanks for the video.
I've not got much experience with remapping but the little research I did made me confident that this way was the right way to go! I've had several great recommendations for other remap companies too tho.
My friend has the t6 he is running 206bhp but hes on a automatic gearbox he dont got much over 30mpg so stick with 140bhp unless you got deep pockets 😂😂
I have a T6 remapped to 140 bhp, I'm in the 600 club - that is I get 600 miles to a tank. 140 bhp is the sweet spot between power and economy. The biggest range I've seen on a full tank in mine was 715. My cousin has just started a business doing remaps, I'll let him take a look at mine and see if any improvements can be made. I'm fine with the power, I tend to do 60/65 mph on the motorway, but if I can ring any more mpg out of it then great.
I'm also the same 630 to a full take but I never let it drop less the 3/4 of a tank get roughly 220-250 miles depending how I drive it and it costs me 35 quid a week.
GDUBTV keep up with the vids. Couple of you guys have really given me the confidence to my own bits. Bulkhead our, windows in. Wanted have ever tried if not for UA-cam videos. Cheers
Sweet only live in the next town from there . So going there with mine one day . Mines a t5 130bhp from the factory and would like some more power etc . Done it to my golf which is now fantastic . T5 next . Cheers
It's not a daily driver so need a bit of time to gauge the economy, but for sure driveability is excellent now, much more torque and range through the gears. Loving it!
@@mattschannel2024 Hi, ive checked online and agree you are correct. I asked a traffic copper last year when I bought my T6 and was told 60 on motorways. Seems even their advice was wrong. Thanks for putting me straight.
Just to add a comment for the internet police... I don't usually drive over 80mph!!! #speedlimiter
🤣🤣

Shallow pockets here mate!! 🤣👊🏼😎
My t5 is a 140bhp and the fuel economy is unbelievable I roughly get on motorway journeys 48 49mpg which for a van is brilliant
Sounds like a great return. I'm yet to try and figure mine out. Thanks for commenting 👊🏼😎

If you add a window you can get round the 60mph to 70 it’s about the blind spot.
Got my t5 from these guys recently. Really pleased with vehicle and service
Ace 😎

Ace, make sure to get that 10% off!! 👊🏼😎
It’s nice to hear some proper music on a Veedub UA-cam video.
Nice one Gordon!!!!
Absolute legend
Thanks pal, good to see you on here still 👊🏼😎🚐
love the artist impression
Lol, thanks, not quite Hollywood, was the best I could manage!! 🤣🤣
Cool video Gordon as always 😀🤙
Thanks, appreciate the positive feedback! 👊🏼😎
What is the guy doing at 3:09??
Lol, it oddly seems like he is jet washing the INSIDE of the door!! I'm sure there's a perfectly normal explanation!! 🤣🤣🤣😜
That's not worrying at all. Let's soak all of these internal, electrical components eh?
Looks like he jet washing the rubber mats which he's hung up.
Good spot!!👊🏼😎
How are you finding your van after the remap in terms of driveability and economy?
It's not a daily driver so need a bit of time to gauge the economy, but for sure driveability is excellent now, much more torque and range through the gears. Loving it!
How much is total cost ?
Contact them direct and they can confirm (link in description) but I think it was about £360 inc vat after applying the discount.
How much did they charge for the remap?
Why would the guy be jet washing the inside door cards in the background? 😱
Someone pointed out he's probably jet washing the rubber mat from the cab! 👌🏼
80 MPH when your limit on the motorway is 60 MPH could see you with a driving ban!
It’s for when I’m on the autobahn.. honestly officer! 👮♀️
Motorway is 70 for a van ?!? Dual carriageway 60?
@@mattschannel2024In a van 60mph is for motorway and dual carriageway, A roads 50 mph.
stonkeng you’re wrong bud sorry x
