- Recent conflicts in the Middle East have brought to light the divide between the two major denominations in Islam, Sunni and Shia. But, in Azerbaijan at the Heydar Mosque both Sunni and Shia Muslims come together every Friday for prayer. TRT World's Yasin Eken reports.

I am from Pakistan and currently residing in Azerbaijan. In in terms of brotherhood and equality, there is no difference and divisions between Shia and Sunni's sects in Azerbaijan. Moreover Christians are also respected with no discrimination towards Orthodox or Catholics. Very peaceful and friendly with one another and no prayer problem in any mosque
