I started watching Dr Andy in grade 9 I was an average student today am in grade 11 and I can proudly say am I top student thank you dr Andy...... everyone just believe in yourself! U got this !!!🎉
The reason why I’m studying is because I don’t have any excuse to fail ….I don’t have any distraction like friends or any other form of relationships and I have the resources that I could use for my benefit 😊

I am a top student who wants to be number one for herself and not to "beat" the other person. My goal is to consistently be present and understand all that is on the board. "A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms."
I started watching Dr andys videos only during the last week of my prelim exams last year (2022). I wish i found it sooner but with all of her tips on student I still got into the top 10 in that term and i think i just missed top 5 the (5th person had 1% more average than me )the end of the year i passed with 4 distinctions and 3 high Code 6s. With my marks i got accepted eveywhere i applied promise you guys its never too late i wish every high school kid watches DR andy I'll never stop recommending this channel!!
Serious that great I wish I can do better too sometimes I feel like a failure. Am doing grade 11 this year

Ngl the things Dr has mentioned here are what we top students do fr😂🔥
I can relate...
1.i didnt even have the prescribed books,so not having money is no excuse. I sourced books online and was always negotiating with the librarian for textbooks
2. Online teachers...not just because the lecturer was not clear but maybe i just couldnt grasp the concept
3. Had consistent and organised study routine
4. Read before topic is to be covered with the help of the course outline/teaching plan
5. I was also true to self...what i had difficulty with i would give it more attention..
6. Self care...made sure i was at my best...especially avoiding stressors where possible,resting,drinking water,my spirituality and etc
And just really wanting to do well...i wanted to be top( i set goals for every test ,assignment and exam)and God and me applying myself made it possible🎉🎉🎉
As someone who's number 2 in the top 10 for grade 10 I can testify that these points are true.

Love this I am a top student but I want to be the top student. I am struggling a little because I’m not consistent and I’m competing with ppl that is and they are naturally smart were as I am book smart so I have to put in double the effort.First term grade 11 I did amazing no 5s just the way I love it I actually came first but the term 2 I went down to top 5 I got three 4s because I was not focusing I let the marks go to my head but now I’m going to push did well term 3 again no 5s again but term 4 is now I’m going to make that change and be consistent ❤😊

Exactly what I used to do Lol and i became one of the top 5 best matriculants in my school. I'll forever be proud of myself😍😍😍😍😍😄
For me it was not about being number 1 but meeting my target marks...i also believed in helping others that are struggling .it didnt take anything away from me..we all performed to our best ability
I'm upgrading my matric this yeah as i got a diploma pass in 2022 after watching your video i know exactly what i want, and why i chose to upgrade than do a course i won't like. I want to get at least 4 distinctions and get accepted for Bachelor of Mechanical Eng. That's my goal. Thanks Doc❤

I'm not exactly a top student but I'm around that area, I also recommend using your ATP to see what topics are upcoming, studying WAY before schools open and using past papers
I’m wondering what ATP stands for? Sorry if that sounds unintelligent 😅
ATP is an Annual Teaching Plan - i think it's a teacher's guide

One thing I learnt too is these top students deceive other students when they ask for advices or tips.
I think people think it’s top students’ duty to teach them or give them tips, at the end of the day they are just students like everyone else just that they work hard and people shouldn’t feel entitled to get help from them.
Just subscribed... I literally binge watch your videos.
It keeps me in that good academic feel and really motivates me to try my best.
Since watching your videos my marks have increased drastically and so has my school spirit .

Try to treat many questions before the exam for 45 minutes before exam❤
I started watching Dr andy videos on june & I was part of the top 5 best learners in grade10 but now I'm at the top 3.

When I study at night I end up feeling sleepy and find myself sleeping on my books..that frustrates me 'couse I don't study enough...how can i stop that?

Sorry love, it's okay to fail from time to time, but you gotta learn from failure and aim to do much more better next time, learn to teach your mind to forget the worst but remember the positivity😊❤
Well, I'd categorize myself as average because I have never been a top student which I don't understand what is it that I'm doing wrong/not doing because even though I'm a hardworker I don't make it to being a top student
& this is so demotivating, I feel like my efforts are just not recognized from high school to varsity

Hey doc Andy , I wanted to ask how can I get consistent and get disciplined?
I don't know what is going with me help me with math
How do you prepare for those level 7 questions that you can't even find in the textbook?
WHAT ii recomend that helped me is doing past papers ..... i remember asking my teacher after finding those l7 questions while practising ,, but note!!! try to solve it first and try your best ,then you can go to your teacher cause this will help you not to depend on your teacher alot

Easy I just do one thing that is very underrated.
I relax and work. Many people be stressing about topics I just relax and laugh, get home and put in the work. Instead of one day let it be day one
