My first WASHER was a 2.5 homelite from Home Depot. I cleaned and sealed countless driveways with that thing. It may take longer, but it will get the job done
@@ClapperDan I was thinking the same thing I've never sealed a driveway with a pressure washer you usually clean it then chemically clean it then you do the sealant but I would imagine that's what he did before applying the sealant to the driveway.

It went on very easily - 10 minutes at most. Feels like a lot more power than the original but that's to be expected. Can't tell a difference when cleaning with the wand or floor sprayer. Would recommend as it was cheaper than most I found. The maintenance free aspect is definitely a plus too. Have used it through about 6 tanks of gas and have zero issues so far.
Do some google searching for retailers that specialize in spray equipment those guys usually can put you in the right machine for your needs and the commercial units normally have external rebuildable pumps which they can usually fix in house pretty reasonably

I got a Simoniz 3000 PSI 7 HP Gas Pressure Washer, they up grated the pump and now it puts out 3400 PSI. Is there a way to tell what it's putting out??? He even bought a 3400 psi house and gun. Heat can definetely speed up the cleaning process. In the cleaning industry there is a concept called Sinner's Circle. It says the result of cleaning is based on four principle factors: Mechanical, duration, heat and chemicals. So if you were to reduce the amount of chemicals but add heat into the mix instead you will get the same cleaning result (broadly speaking).
I us heat my pressure washer alone cost 15000 $Canadian I use it 4 season also my coldest temperature I went is -27°C yup its cold 🥶 and challenging been 4 years I'm in business going on 5 now
@@DrainReaper To be fair, you can get good heating pressure washer combo units for $3500 in the USA, especially for those starting out. No need to get the big and best. $3500 is still a lot, but nowhere near 10k+ and can do more, better, and save time, generally. Downsides are if you are doing residential only, its probably not needed, but I am looking at some leads where it might be viable but it definitely adds a lot more cost.

What would be best for water reclamation? Especially when doing a driveway as for its going straight to the street. As someone who is looking into pressure washing this is my second biggest concern. I read some people say to get a vacuum to suck up the water. I don't really see anyone really using it any where just sending the water down the street.

You can just get a shop vac. With the wide end, all you have to do is block the direction of the curb where the water is heading toward a storm drain with like a towel, and have your vac and maybe a 100 ft extension cable and you can leave there. Once it gets full, dump it on the property.

I love you videos and advice! I have a cheap Troybilt pressure washer. Of course it comes with the detergent resevoir. I pour my 12% SH in there. I guess the machine is shooting out too weak of a mix. So I end up having to use it only for rinsing. I use a pump sprayer to spray a more effective hot mix for now, and rinse with the pressure washer. Does anyone else have this problem with a cheaper pressure washer? Ill take any advice to speed up my jobs.

When cleaning up, disconnect the hose and turn it as you roll it up. The less tension on your hose as you pack up, the less it’ll twist and turn on you while you’re working.
Someone who owns a pressure supply store just told me today that the 16” surface cleaner is going way better than the 20”? He explained that it works faster. Doesn’t cover as much ground but you’ll be working circles round the 20”. What’s your take on this? Looks like you have a 20”

Depends on your GPM im pretty sure, if you dont have enough flow for the 20” i think youd spend more time going over your work
