I’ve come across a few sneaky pirates who try to use this strategy but they all end up being pelted by the ghost fleet themselves while they complain in open mic about something or another, showing them how to do it properly I see, Toxie! ❤

I love the ghost fleet voyages. I used to use them as a pseudo-alert system while I'd be doing other things. I'd vote up a ghost fleet, then listen for cannon fire while I would be doing a fort or fishing. If I heard cannons, I knew someone was coming from the direction of the fleet.
First thing someone’s gonna do when the other burning blade comes out is to do the ghost fleet world event to have a burning blade verses a burning blade

HG is PVP not PVE. That’s what adventure mode is for. Also this is not new. People have been doing this for awhile because they aren’t good enough at PvP to just duke it out and whoever has the best crew wins. People try this slimy rat things because they want a curse so bad. Do this and people will know you didn’t earn it.
Quick question can I also do this with skeleton fleets just as effectively?
Skeleton fleets are smaller, more durable, only spawn in the middle of map, target one ship at a time, and can be a pain with curseballs, so I’d say it’s substantially more risk for less reward.

If I had a coin for every time Toxie summoned an entire fleet to aid her in battle I'd have two coins, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice

It’s not that bad; you’ll one day start winning like 7 or 8/10 of your fights. Usually around lvl 60 onward in respective allegiance. Keep at it brother.
