That was an easy Anchorball if you had taken your time.

I’ve only had someone interfere in my hg battle once and unfortunately for them the other ship and I had just negotiated to determine the winner with a dice roll so we went ahead and stopped what we were doing and sunk the third party. Was a great match and I won the dice roll so we played shanties together as their ship sank

I’m curious. I had an idea for making all weapons balanced: allowing the sword to interrupt reload animations. You can’t kill a player with a sword faster than you can reload a blunderbuss, and if you were being sliced up irl, there’s a good chance you wouldn’t be able to focus on reloading. It would make taking on sword users more interesting in needing to keep some range in between shots. What do you think about the idea for that change?
I used to think this too but from the perspective of using two guns this would make them almost unusable against more than 1 player. I think a better balance would be to remove the ability for guns to cancel the sword lunge.

Ran into someone the other day while on doing a tall tail with a friend. They were flying a reaper flag, and we even thought they had a skull of siren song so we hid our vault key and went over to say "hi" as they were really close to the island we needed. We get there, and we see not one but two sloops sitting there. We found out that both of them we waiting for an hourglass fight (which, in my opinion, is a dirty trick) to start as they were running defense but given how silently they got on our ship I wasn't exactly upto fighting two ships at once and agreed to leave them alone if they left us alone. My friend was harder to convince 😅 she almost started firebombing them before I stopped her

I don’t know how UA-camrs manage to run into normal players for these videos. Every session I play is just cheaters teleporting with bombs or spawn camping for “fun.” The game is nearly unplayable.
That’s really interesting to hear! I’m an unskilled player who solo sloops most of the time and have only run into a few cheaters and haven’t had a spawn camper once, but I’ve only been playing since last autumn. Maybe it’s a regional thing?
