- It looks like you have a palsey on that side. -my husband on my old makeup.
Yes, I am aware that my hair is bad in this video. We all made questionable decisions in quarantine like baking bread, weekly zoom meetings with your entire family, or getting a pet that you weren't ready for. Please focus on the star of the show, *my face*.
If that doesn't give you a reason to get your colors done, and still after watching this video you aren't interested, don't worry, I'll be throwing more of this content at you because I just love it so much. It really rocked my world and I'm still obsessed so let me know if you have any questions about it in the comments. Thank you for watching and if you liked this one, please let me know by pressing the thumbs up and subscribing before you head out! Just press all the buttons. Thank you so much :D

I’m a Bright Winter but didn’t know it because I didn’t have bright blue eyes. But I have nearly black hair and very light skin. Even though my eyes are hazel, I need the clarity of Bright Winter. I too was using Dark Autumn colors for clothes and makeup. So this video was fun to see the difference. It really does make a huge difference. Knowing your palette saves lots of money in the long run.
I will not shut up about it until everyone knows their palette. 😂 Bright winter is so pretty. Reminds me of bright retro styles.
I wish I was winter or bright spring...those are the fun colors. I think I'm more soft autumn, not a bad look, just kore muted.
I wish i knew my palette but i dont think I'll ever figure it out
Rapper Machine Gun Kelly is a clear winter like his fiancée Megan Fox. 🎭🩰🎨
Omg 😳 I’m here from the future where your hair is now kind of espresso and very bw. Makes a huge difference!
I think bright retro styles were rather creepy. If course they were a step up from the times when women smeared ash on eyebrows with fingers, but still look crude comparing to the makeup now.
Fun idea: Decorate your home with colors in your palette! 🌈
Yes! I’ve been trying to incorporate my colors but you have to be very bold to decorate in Bright Winter 😅
@@BridgetCappel You can use cool tones though. Just have fun.💃
Absolutely- I’m also trying to consider my husband’s True Autumn palette so it takes some creativity to get it right and looking stylish.
@@BridgetCappel playing with black and white furniture with bright accents can make a house decoration stunning 🤩
The old side looks really muddy. The new side looks amazing ,color analysis is like magic.🤩 You look great!
And I used to think I could pull off olive green! Always wondered why I had to put on more makeup and why my hair always looked dirty in those clothes... 🤦🏻♀️ Thank you so much for watching!
Muddy is a great way to describe the old side. It wasn't bad, but you could tell something looks off compared to the cool toned side
@@BridgetCappel I have a shirt in the color "army olive," but it's a cross between Bright Winter TCI Corporate 3.1 and 1.5.
This is great. I am 69 and have been watching make up videos for years off and on trying to 'fix' my make up. I finally understand what I am doing wrong after watching this video! Not just the colors, which I am a Winter also, but the technique. So simple! I have watched women do half sides of their faces and never gotten the difference with the blush even though I could see it. Now it makes sense. Thank you. This is a game changer.
What a huge difference I can see. You look more vibrant, polished and put-together. You look fantastic.
It’s difficult being a bright winter when you’re blue eyed and ash brown hair because most people think summer when they look at you, but the drab colours just kill you, and also the dark colours of true winter can overpower you. The cool thing is I’ve also found that I can wear a lot of the warm bright spring colours away from my face as well as using bright springs cool colours.
She looks like a cool summer at a first glance; it has a similar palette to cool winter, which is bright and cool- But the colors she was wearing before were more autumn: warm, muted and dusty; they were not the right ones.
I have cool brown eyes and ash brown hair. I used to think I was a true summer but I turned out to be a bright winter instead 😊
Holy shit this might be me
Have you tried the ‘Light Summer’ palette? It’s part of the 12 season colour analysis x
Yes, that's true. I'm a bright winter, and my hair used to be brown-black...but it's faded with age due to the early stages of the graying process, and it's now medium ash brown. I find I look much better when I dye my hair a cool soft black, or even a soft blue-black. It really makes my skin look bright, and it enhances the intensity of my gray-green eyes. My eyes read as jade green with the right hair color, sometimes combined with a flattering eyeshadow.
I'm a guy, and I just recently started wearing makeup when I feel like it! Screw people's judgments!
Perfect example of using your colours. It really makes a difference to know your colours when you buy outfits. You know what to look for and don't buy anything just because its in fashion this season...
Incredible difference. Like you came to life. Beautiful.
Thank you! 😊
I’m so glad UA-cam recommended your bright winter videos! I’ve always gravitated toward what I call “power red” and “power blue,” hot pink, and in your face purple. I suspect I might be a bright winter!
You look great on both sides but the bright side just pops. You are so lovely.
Wow, you look so much better in the bright winter look!!! I think I'm still recovering from the idea that wearing black doesn't suit my true spring coloration.... goth tearz
I feel you!! I’m still trying to pry my all black looks out from my own bright winter hands 🖤

Looks like you'll be converting to Pastel goth ✌️

This was one of the most entertaining and real conversational style video about color analysis I’ve seen
GIRRRRL that PINK you intro’ed with! Perfect!! Way to show your knowledge right off the bat!! I trust every word you say hahaha
I was really surprised to see how much better the correct colors can make us look! You are gorgeous even in the world colors. But the right colors made you absolutely STUNNING. BTW, I used to work for Cleveland Opera, with General Director David Bamberger (way before your time). I wasn't a singer, as my voice is terrible, but I loved working in the Development dept. Getting to see all the operas was a huge bonus.
I’m a bright winter too! I discovered it by accident when I bought a mystery color item and it turned out to look SO good on me I was shocked and almost immediately went down the rabbit hole of color analysis. Truly converted now.
I love summer colors. Even tho I wore lots of makeup, my friends at work didn’t invite me to a makeup party because they didn’t think I wore any. When I switched my makeup to winter colors, I got compliments from EVERYONE. It was funny because they all thought I looked great, but couldn’t figure out why. The biggest guess was I’d had a great vacation, and had a new haircut (same hair).
WOW! The biggest difference for me is in your eyes. The bright winter side really looks lifted and awake!
I just went through the same process. I dx myself as a bright winter. (I thought I was a soft autumn) What really sold me on the BW season was doing bright winter makeup. I was wearing my makeup like how you did before. All my face shadows stood out in warm and dark colors, my face looked saggy and older. But in cool bright winter makeup, all of that disappears! My lips even looked fuller in the right lip color! 💗
Getting Snow White vibes on the bright winter side, it suits you so much better than the warm autumn tones which I picture on someone with Giselle Bundchen type skin tone. Edit I appreciate the celeb examples you used, it shows even the most beautiful people are NOT helped by wearing the wrong colors.

I'm basically the opposite, I was dressing and doing makeup like a winter but I had my color analysis done and I'm an autumn!
I love this. I just had my analysis done recently and I’m a Cool Winter. Changing my makeup has made such a difference. I’m with you on catching the Colour Analysis fever.
Yay cool winter! Enjoy the journey!
omg your winter face looks amazing! you look so so attractive, naturally sultry. this is such a great demonstration, thanks!!
The brick colored lipstick actually looks good, but you can pull off the brighter one like it’s magic
I see you as a very fortunate "Neutral" complexion. You look excellent in either palette. No need to limit yourself - be flexible. You have simply fallen in love with the brighter, happier, hues of the cool palette. You can have the same results with a warm palette. So lovely in the raw!
Thank you so much for this! It's hard to find Bright Winter references online and the side-by-side comparisons you're making in this video makes is SO MUCh easier to understand the differences in colour choices!
The new colours bring so much life and vibrancy to your face! Those are such pretty colours too! Lucky you!
In case anyone with a similar color tone is looking for foundation, Bobbi Brown is my holy grail - her foundations are fantastic if you are a bright winter but with a slight yellow or olive undertone
This is the best comparison I’ve seen till now!
It's so cool to see how much of a difference it actually makes on you!!
I found you last night while looking for “Winter” color videos. YOU HELPED ME REACH A MUCH BETTER understanding. I think you should be a color analyst and I should be your test case!
Thank you! I am also equally impressed with your singing…. Beautiful!
Please post more color content ( I am a Winter bright and clear, also)… you explain things well, have a great attitude and wonderful perceptions. Thank you.
I love this video!! I have watched it and also shared it with my friends. Fascinating.
I'm amazed at how subtle the differences in her makeup are, yet they make a huge difference in her overall look. Now I'm questioning my entire wardrobe and makeup routine 🤔
What an incredible difference! Thank you for this video.
This was such a good demonstration. Great video. You look fabulous.
You look gorgeous! Bright Winter is definitely for you x
What an amazing difference! Wow. You still looked lovely how you used to do your old make up, but the contrast is amazing.
omg this was AMAZING! i am so glad this went viral for you. so so well done. i just discovered i am a dark winter and am experiencing this exact same excitement!! realizing why bronzer always looked jank on me, how shocked i was when i bought a vibrant bright saturated blue shirt it looked amazing on me (i thought something like that only looked good on blondes with blue eyes and i am snow white coloring). i was you on every word! TOTALLY see what you mean! tysm for this video cant wait to watch the rest, my fellow bright winter!!! so appreciate you girl
I’m so glad you enjoyed this!! I completely made this on a whim one day with very little prep so it’s amazing how many people ended up seeing it 😅
Bridget, I think I was destined to watch your video today! I heard about color analysis years ago, but never thought it would be helpful. After seeing your side by side comparison, I'm hooked on finding my colors, and showing my truest, best self. Thank you so very much! 💕
I’m so glad to hear!! You’re welcome and enjoy your color journey! It’s so fun to watch yourself transform as you discover what is harmonious with your natural coloring!
Omg love the video so much! I was so confused about the seasonal colors. After your video I get the point. Thanks a lot, have a nice day!
You look so vibrant and fresh with the bright winter makeup!
Thank you so much!!
Really enjoyed your video. Your narration was a breath of fresh air. Just laid back, not super scripted. It was great!
WOW. Thank you for this! I have been struggling to find someone who doesn't just do instagram face - this is lovely and I will be trying brighter colours now :)
I love your new winter look. The pinks are perfect and that blush really lifts your features. I have almost your exact coloration and now feel emboldened to make the move to more pinks. I do know I look good in jewel tones, Horrible in pastels even though I love those colors. I think your new colors do empower you. They say "Happy & Confident!"
Your makeover is so bomb! 😍😍😍
Wow! Such a difference in the correct makeup and colors!
Bro colour analysis is blowing my mind the more I look into it. The cheek colour on your left (my right) is stunninggggg on you 😍😍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍
Good video. I had / have the exact opposite situation because I am soft autumn and your video help me to see how beautiful one can look just by wearing the right colors.
I did colour analysis when it was a big thing in the 1980’s. I’m a winter too. I look dreadful in anything with a yellow undertone. But I don’t feel good in anything too bright. Colour analysis has evolved and now it differentiates seasons with deep, true and bright. It also can push into the other cool season, summer and some people at that end of the scale can borrow some colours from that palette while still being a winter. I hope I explained that well enough to know what I’m saying. It’s fascinating to delve into it.
Wow you look so much younger with the right colors on you!
Excellent demonstration👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Sooo interesting! Thank you for the comparaisons. It will help me a lot ^^
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
great demo on this colour season, and thanks for the eye shadow tip... am finding my own eye makeup colours for a blue-eyed Bright Winter.... you look so fresh and pretty.... love from London, UK xxx
I have the EXACT same old type to my makeup as you… trying to find my new style as a winter. Thanks for the video love it!
Great video. This is precisely why I've been struggling with palettes for the past few years...everything has been ridiculously warm, copper, red! We've seen cool colours come to light, as of late. And thank goodness! Cheers to our bright, wintery selves!
Finding eyeshadow palettes are definitely a struggle, yes! This is why I often buy singles and create my own based on my season.
Color analysis REALLY makes a BIG difference!! I recently discovered I'm a light summer, and have been wearing the wrong palette my whole life! I like bright colors, and used to wear the winter palette often because it's so bright and pretty, but they just don't suit me well. Thankfully, I'm a neutral undertone, so I have more options with warm and cool. This side by side comparison was really interesting!
I actually have an appointment for colour analysis next week. So interesting seeing your video.
How exciting!! I hope you enjoy the process! It’s fascinating!
Amazing! I love the new color changes on you :) I would love to get this done by someone who knows what they're doing. I have no idea who to go to who I could trust to get it right! I would hate to leave with the wrong analysis, lol. 🌻
If you can make the trip and are in the states, I would highly recommend Rebecca from Colorpolitan in Dallas, Texas! She is fabulous and spends several hours draping you to make sure she gets it exactly right. I haven't seen her miss yet! You can also look up analysts at True Color International and 12 Blueprints.
Bingo! You got it right! Although you are very beautiful and look good both ways, your new color palette is definitely you!
Mine is the one you were using before. However, it would be nice to see you with a more natural look, like minus the heavy liner/ wing, and dark lipstick shade.
Great video!
Wow! Such a difference. Your season palette really upgrades you.
Purple rain! Purple rain! Color analysis is magical isn’t it!
Amazing video, I am also a Bright winter and will now go through all of my make up 😂
Thank you. I'm quite possibly a clear winter and I have been doing my make up like your "before" and wearing burgundy (which does not flatter). Thank you thank you thank you! I am so stoked to try out these colors!
You are so welcome! I hope that you feel radiant trying out your clear/bright winter colors!!
I had my colors done when there were only 4 seasons, and knew I was a Winter. Seeing this video, I realized why burgundy doesn't look as good on me ... I'm a bright winter, not a soft or deep winter. A really bright burgundy might look ok, but not the gray-toned that I had. I just made a Goodwill run with a lot of nice tops that just don't do me any favors.
really great video!!
Amazing video!!! We are so similar, I’m a black woman but also stuck mostly to browns & similar colors to my skin tone. I always thought bright colors would be too much for me but it’s actually exactly what I need
Yeah, it’s amazing to see how the whites of your eyes are so much brighter on the bright side.
I appreciate this so much!!
I had my colors done back in 1982 or '83, and it changed my life! My closet is so easy, and I always look good! (I'm a soft summer.) Shopping is a breeze too.
Going to try this look. Haven't had my colours done but am almost certain I'm a bright winter. I look amazing in black, bright cobalt blue, hot pink and lime green
Wait your hair color is so pretty !!
Thank you! I didn’t like my balayage so I covered it with pink overtone!
You look amazing girl
With winter make-up you look younger and just kind of sharp and fresh 👏💕
My mom and I got our personal colors done recently and we’re both winter cool tones. Mom is buying new makeup since everything she has is warm toned, and I will definitely be showing her this video!
That’s amazing! Congrats on finding you seasons! I need to do a best of winter make up video to help all you winters find good products 🤔🤔🤔
Oh my I did the same thing. I just never understood why the bronze shades didn’t work. I always thought it was because I was too pale or light toned but I got a color analysis and I’m cool as well. What a major difference it’s made since I got the correct makeup shades. If you need any feedback on the best cool toned stuff there let me know bc I’ve been out it for a while. I wish someone would do a list of true cool toned pink lipsticks like she wore bc unless it’s super bright it’s hard for me to decipher.
Evangelize away! I had to pause mid video to book my appointment to have a pro complete my personal color analysis.
I feel like the strongest evidence is your eyes. Your eyes is so much vibrant and clear in the right colours. It's really pretty!
Great demo!!
Thank you!
Great job totally doing this
Justo lo que estaba buscando. Gracias!
Sorry I see zero differences! You look beautiful in either color range!
You look younger on the left pinky side wow that helps me a lot thank you!
U look like a princess
For the longest time I stopped wearing the gorgeous rose, pink, and berry lipsticks that look so great on winters. I just recently started wearing them again, and they're so good for me. Plus very mood boosting. There's just something about a good lipstick.
I’m a winter but never got my subtype, I have very similar coloring to you so glad I found your channel!!!
Glad you’re here!! Hope I can help you find which winter suits you best!
One thing about it u r gorgeous in anything. I have never been able to figure my colors out.
Wow! What a difference when wearing the true colors ( although you are a beautiful girl, both sides look good but definitely the winter side brightens you up even more. You did a great job demonstrating). I had this done back in my early 20’s. Back then My Colton analysts showed me to be a cool winter with pink and blue undertones . Marriage, motherhood and work pretty much consumed me … I would like to get back to this concept. Where can I order the color swatches helping me pick my true colors? ( I live in NY).
If you don’t feel that you need to be re-draped, you can order a swatch book for your season at True Colour International. I’m not sure if “Cool Winter” corresponds with True Winter or Bright Winter though- sounds like True Winter to me if you are all cool undertones. Bright Winter is a cool neutral season with a little warmth from spring. You could also consider visiting an analyst in NY or maybe making a trip to Dallas to see Rebecca at Colorpolitan! Hope that’s helpful!!
Lovely. Growing up I always looked ill, almost black eyes with a navy blue outer rim, very dark brown hair & pale pale skin. Its taken a while but Im finally getting it, thanks to lovelies like yourself.
The difference is stunning.
Outro sinal de que a cor está correta é abrir um sorriso. Thank you!
Amazing
I was beginning to suspect that I am a bright winter, and after watching this video, I knew it! Just like you, I went and did my makeup on one half of my face how I usually do, and then on the other half, how I should do it while keeping in mind that I’m a bright winter. HUGE difference! My husband observed that the side made up how I used to do it looked “droopy” in comparison to other side, which looked brighter and more lively. Thank you for this video!!!
That’s amazing!! I’m so glad you found this helpful 💜 It makes such a huge difference when you wear your best colors.
Fantastic video!
Thank you so much!!
Wow I can totally see it!!!
Gorgeous❤ I'm a bright winter and can't wear grayish, muddy yellow, green, orange and brown stuffs.
Ok but the lighter pink blush shade is CRAZY pretty on you!
Thank you!!
wow beautiful!!!!
Get ur colors done you won’t regret it!!! #noragrats
I really struggled finding my colour scheme. I have neutral skin tone (pale olive extremities mixed with rosy on the face and torso), dark brown/black hair that becomes coppery or ashy depending on the seasons, true brown eye colour that becomes dry military green in the summer. Only thing I could pinpoint was a lot of contrast on my face and knowing that vivid colours look the best on me and some are my favourite colours! So I settled for something between Bright Winter and Dark winter.
I recommend silver, white gold jewellery and colour wise: purple but more with pink/red undertone like the one you showed (1:55 that’s my favourite colour in the world actually :), vivid teal or aqua, fuschia, true red and black! On you I liked both makeup looks but the clothing made the most impact.
Great video, thanks for sharing!
This is brilliant! Way to make subtle color effects obvious! I'd love to have my colors done someday, but have been muddling about on my own, and strongly suspect I'm some kind of autumn - not the bright kind, the muted sort. Anyway, this is great!
You should definitely do it! It’s such an amazing experience!
Yep i remember wearing this bright candyish cool pink lipstick while being muted autumn, at least this phase✨ is gone 🙏
