I love eternity still and always will have in my collection, I live in Miami hot humid weather and it’s perfect for me, humidity can really change a fragrance and Eternity stays fresh and clean and lots of ladies have stoped me and ask me what I’m wearing it happens as well with Alien ny Terry Mugler and Clinique Happy my favorites for the warm humid weather, thanks for the video it brings back lots of memories 🌹
I have over 150 bottles of perfume... This is the one that I get most compliments for. Today's it would've been considered "niche-quality" (edp at least).. It's green, clean and yet warm at the same time? Amazing.
Hi from Canada 🇨🇦 I wore this in the 80s and was my signature fragrance for at least 10 years ,and got more compliments on this perfume than any perfume perfume I have ever worn ,and yes when it’s in the air is when it’s at its finest .I moved on to other perfumes as I got older Chanel ,D&G Last week I went ahead and ordered it again after one of my friends on YT got it ,and WOW it sent me back in time and I fell in love with it all over again . Omg I tried this today and you are SPOT on! I tried it and it almost knocked me out ! I hated it and YES ....carnation really stood out. Then about 10 minutes later I walked outside and the wind hit me! Wow the perfume then smelled AMAZING! It does smell great in the air and I think it’s so different than anything I own! I’m not sure about longevity but I’m going to enjoy trying it out! Great review!

I must be one of the only people left on the planet who've never smelled this....mostly because I'm not a big fan of most white florals or clean fragrances. Smells like violets I love this perfume and it has a bubblegum-y scent on me it lasts all day lol 😆 you’re absolutely right it very linear it does not change its notes throughout the day.
A friend of mine sprayed this on me on my wedding day ... after 6 months I got one. Some people may not like it at the beginning ... but when you do you will feel the "need" to put it on. Great review. Thanks a lot.
Hello Thomas! Hope all is well across the pond? I just received my vintage 1986 bottle of Eternity cologne and I'm drowning at right now LOL! My cats are Surly gassed out at this point but they seem to be sleeping at least I hope they're sleeping LOL! One thing I can say is yes this vintage has a volume for sure but it isn't screechy high pitch it's very smooth around the edges and of course it's all white florals but I'm 30 minutes into this and I'm already picking up musk and Sandalwood and it is just smoothing those florals out and melding so well with the carnation and Marigold which is also another spicy kick... Anyway enjoy your reviews as always! Now I must return to my eternity and bask in its gloriousness... Take care!
I specified cologne formulation because that was the original release formulation then came the ea de parfum but for my tastes I will always seek out the cologne formulation( for a perfume that was literally everywhere back in the day these vintage bottles sure are hard to find)... This particular bottle must have been cared for with loved because there isn't anything missing in it! It's all here and I'm so delighted! Heaven, I'm in heaven...
I had a little sample of this and what a throw back. It’s amazing, smells like the 80’s, all my childhood in a bottle. Had to buy a full size and let my children have the same olfactory memory that I have. Hope they will remember me with this scent someday.

I was so excited when I saw you reviewed this! You're right, it has been reformulated. The vintage has a little extra shimmer to it that I think the new formulation is lacking.

It clings on and will not let go and I love that in a perfume . U don’t have to reapply. And what I feel is... if u are going to wear this perfume just put on an hr before u leave the house
It smells like bad breath up close.But the sillage of it smells bearable and clean smelling.I bought it blind and extremely hated it. I started using it as linen spray and room spray.Then i realized it actually smells better on air lol.Now im starting to wear it again. No one seems to hate it even when im around many people.

I wasn't able to get in the 80's but after a friend was wearing it in the 90's I got a bottle thus starting my love affair with Calvin's scents. I know this isn't customary but it reminds me of summer... maybe because that's the time of year I discovered it and wore every day... devouring 2 bottles! lol ;)

All perfumes now are much much weaker than they ever used to be. I can remember Poison, Youth Dew, Anais Anais, Eternity, a couple of squirts and you smelt good for 24 hours plus. I stick to essential oils now.
Hello! It's very diferent. :) Truth is a much greener watery scent., I used to have it a while back. Eternity is a fresh kinda sharp floral. I actually wouldn't mind getting some Truth again...hmmm.
SUGAR XYLER it was made in the 90's so of course it's not going to smell like a fragrance from 2017. That's why there are still vintage fragrances from 1928 around that don't smell like fragrances made today. Most today are sugar sweet boring ones made to appeal to the mass market. At least this one has a bit of character and was VERY different for the time! I still love it but of course... fragrance is personal taste Weird you think it smells like rotting wood when there are no woody notes apart from sandalwood which isn't noticeable at all in this one. :)

Hehe. It throws so much liquid out that it kinda goes very wide. Oh yes definitely smell it you never know! :)
The fragrance is different, unique, I've not seen any other perfume smells similar,.

Wow, I still have the bottle of this from when I was in my 20's, to sniff from time to time :) and I loved the Men's Eternity so so sooo much !
