I started to cry ... when I heard such perfection in the interpretation, you put your soul to play ... taking us to meet the essence of music!
Grande interpretazione! La malinconia del Compositore si manifesta dopo una sofferta introspezione e si fonde con un tormento che il pianista deve rivivere durante l'esecuzione come accade in questo caso.
C'est purement magnifique, une interprétation profondément puissante par sa douceur.

I do think he is right not to do the repeat, I've never understood it - and though some pianists do play the repeat I have never been completel convinced. This is a wonderful performance with marvels such as the left hand octaves in the''funeral march' section' and the slow tempo which never drags.

@@aidandoran8551 I can do a 9th comfortably and I am ok playing this piece
@@aidandoran8551 there are 10ths, so it's quite hard to reach sometimes
@@aidandoran8551 but they appear like six times in the entire piece so that's not that bad

You can use the soft pedal, too, but it's not a requirement, it's an option.
