I'm in the UK and I have a 630D GT x Drive, and absolutely love it. I use it as my daily drive to work each, total 36 miles or so, and have quickly got used to it. Only thing here in the UK we cannot appreciate the speed and acceleration that the 630d can achieve, cos the Brit cops will be over you like a rash. But it is still an awesome car.

This car is made for ppl who can afford the 7 but doesn't like the show off design and image of it.
I’ve owned both. The 7 is well made and stuffed with tech, the 6 is more practical but is the same size as the standard 7 - this is too big for UK urban driving so you really need 360 degree camera pack with these cars otherwise car parking without kerbing the alloy wheels will become a daily nightmare. (Owned 2013, 2015 and 2018 GT and 2016 7 series)

Andrei Neculăeş I bought the 640i petrol and added full air suspension and 4 wheel drive....acceleration is awesome...refinement superb..

Razer Fan Boy: The 640D probably does 35 mpg in the real world. My average for the petrol is a dismal 18mpg however I am not blocking up a diesel particulate filter which could cost me £3K down the line. When you consider that the 640 will lose a fortune in depreciation, the saving on using diesel, for a low mileage driver, is insignificant, on the other hand the performance is not far off your average supercar. That’s why I bought one.

I had to chance to be in the new 530d and 630d gt back to back. There wasn't noticeable difference is comfort as the new 5 series is really smooth. It seemed also better to drive. Gt has more space in back but i think 5 series is better buy

Actually it's one of the beautiful bmw's back. You must have bad tastes to hate this car.
You can leave the rear pop-up spoiler in the active open position by just pushing a button. This also improves the appearance of the rear end of the car.
