This GT series has nothing to do with the older chasis GranCoupe! This series GT is a "G" chasis, the older Grancoupe was "F" chasis. Bmw replaced the 6 grancoupe with 8 series GranCoupe so it can directly compete with Mercedes Amg Gt. Since 6 grancoupe didn't have any serious competition in the segment, even though it looked beautiful. But, this 6 GT also looks incredible live, you have to see it, magnificent machine.
