Please dont force yourself to eat something you dislike. Because in Malaysia, it is not considered as impolite to reject someone's offer of food just because you dont like it or you cant eat it under any conditions. You just have to be brave enough to just smile for the offer and nod your head a little repeatly and then show your palm to that person politely from afar. Your palm is a signal of a polite but firm "No" and that person will understand it. Most of the time he/she will not ask your reason for rejecting it. People in Malaysia will feel hurt more if you suffered when eating their food than to just rejecting their food. So its a win-win situation to decline the offer. Try these tips next time, if this happens again in the near future. Hope that can helps.

Normally (other than the month of Ramadan) at the big circular ground infront of the mosque would be full of people hanging out skateboarding etc just having fun esp at night. More so during the weekend. Putrajaya comes alive at night with enthusiasts cycling jogging n walking along the long stretch of boulevard infront of those big buildings. The biggest chocolate outlet in the Klang Valley (KL n the surrounding towns n cities) is found just beside the pink mosque but you need to go down one level. Take care all. Your video is very addictive.
If you all have time on the weekend, you can go on a visit to the National Mosque in Kuala Lumpur. The most beautiful and unique mosque in Malaysia and then you can break your fast at the Dataran Merdeka Kuala Lumpur field. The atmosphere of the night there is beautiful and beautiful. Try it
yang poko makan tu,pulut panggang...isi ikan kt dalam..saya suka!🥰.wah! Shun memang pelajar terbaik..boleh sebut perkataan "Perpustakaan" dengan baik sekali!😊& how about your experience in that mosque..beautiful right?🥰🥰congratulations on your experience there
What a calm n peaceful video (because at the mosque), very interesting content, well done guys. Actually Poko was eating kuih Pulut Panggang (grilled glutinous rice with spicy grated coconut filling), it'll be more delicious with more filling inside.
You guys are very lucky for having a friendly local muslim to bring you on tour to the mosque and thank you for bringing us to the tour there as well through this video. [I watched a video by a western youtuber who visited a largest mosque in Brunei alone and then being asked to leave by 2 mosque attendants just bcos he is not muslim, then he give bad comments about Brunei bla bla bla.]
Hai adik-adik Nobu, Shun dan Poko 👋. Terima kasih kerana meluangkan masa melawat masjid. Harap dapat sampaikan kepada orang-orang Jepun, tiada apa-apa yang merbahaya di dalam masjid seperti yang digambarkan oleh orang-orang yang #islamophobia. Kedatangan kawan-kawan bukan Islam sangat dialu-alukan. I think By this time, adik-adik tentu sudah perasan bahawa orang-orang Malaysia sangat suka memberikan makanan percuma kepada tetamu. 😊
Hye guys.. Glad you enjoyed the mosque. Btw, dont be scared to say the food is bland or not to your liking. This shows that you are being truthful in your experience. We malaysians dont mind, because we understand tht we come from different places and culture.
Malaysian food specifically Malay food is simply taste bad and unhealthy. Even my friend's moms cooks r all bad and berminyak with less sayur. The best that we can find from Malay people cooking is when they try to cook non-Malays food such as western one, still it taste bland and fake. @@harrywoodroof9575 haha im going to disagree with you. My reference to saying its okay to say it bland because usually mass cooked food for iftar our any sponsored event they dont hve enough time or in a hurry to cook, therefore it being bland sometime. To say malay food is bland, is wrong. I grew up abroad in a western country. I know how bland their food is. Heck, thts why malaya ws colonised back then.. The brits came here for our spices. Even now, western youtubers come here just for our food. The taste, the umami they cant get with their fish and chips or cordon bleu. So to say malay food is bland, you are very wrong. Sorry. And to your claims that only mamak and thai restaurant is open at night, i ask you this.. Dont they sell nasi lemak and curry at the mamak? Dont they sell nasi goreng ikan masin, kangkung belacan heck even soup daging.. Did all these dishes comes from thailand and tamil nadu? The tomyum and mamak restaurant even have to tweak their menus to cater to the MALAY taste. So there goes your answer. Sorry but you are wrong.
@@amirdomani8178 I'm wrong?🤔 But in Ur sentences U admit urself that during night only Thai-Kelantanese and Mamak restaurants are tip top. Even Malay stalls dengki with Thai Pattani Muslims selling here till they find out the Pattani owner is close and bestie with chief police officer so they can't use their Malay dengki tactics to threatened them with whether they have I/C or not. Some even worse, Malay use black magic to other non-Malays stalls and restaurants e.g. Chef Ammar. The rest tak Laku unless the Malay sells the so called western food e.g. Ramli burger or Arab cuisines. Malay food "in general" I said, "in general!" is taste like plain paper sometimes like improperly washed dish full of bubbly ubat basuh pinggan especially when they try to serve laksa. Trust me , those that U see on YT that makes Malay food looks good are either non-Malays food or food that cooked by a chef. In general , 3/10. Thus I'm not fully wrong. P.S. even Pak Tam in highway also taste bland n yk it. My indian friends who's studying in matriks said Malay curry is so light n bland compared to what he ate in Mamak/indian restaurants and his mom's. Sambal belacan of the Malays?pfft, try go to Pattani and taste it there, you will feel like somehow belacan is not originated from Malaysia, maybe Southern Thailand, that's what my Kedahan Malay friend told me after they went to Songkhla, Pattani and Yala of Thailand and eat there. Not to mention Malay products? bluerkk unless it's Chinese Malaysian-made ,then it's all gud. Thank God Allah make Malaysia multiracial if not these Malay idiots n their pathetic foods will only create another Myanmar🇲🇲 in ASEAN. Additionally, Lotus Thai company bought Tesco Malaysia just made it easier for me to have access to scrumptious n tip top quality Thai products in its nearest store.
@@harrywoodroof9575 haha no where in my comment tht i said tomyum kedai and mamaks are 'tiptop'. I even said, they HAVE to tweak and cater to the malay taste. So what does tht mean? Malay food taste like dish soap? Man i dont know where youve been eating but please change where you eat. Haha. And as for your 'friends' claim that indian curry is better.., malay and indian curry is different. Indians is oil based and malay is coconut based. So what are you on about? As my own opinion, you cant beat indian fish curry, theyre the best. But also malays chicken curry taste better to me than indian chcken curry. I dont know whts your problem with malay cuisine. It seems like a malay girl like left you in friendzone or something tht you hve so much hate towards it. Haha. Malaysia is a multicultural country, we enjoy three different ethnicity of food culture which intertwine with one another. Im sorry tht the malay places youve been eating at is bad. But to say malay cuisine is bland in general is wrong. Because nearly all our dishes started with the same base/bumbu like the chinese/indian dishes. So yeah, sorry again.. You are wrong. No bother to reply, bcuz like i said.. I dont know whts your problem with the hate but i dont intend to reply to your comment anymore. May you find your peace. ✌🏻
Great job. Only 4k to reach 100k subs. Most masjid / mosques provide foods for Iftar during Ramadan, and happy to see you able to join and share the blessing of Ramadhan.
Hi Nobu, Poko and Shun, thank you for visiting our Pink Mosque, hope you guys will visit again during Ramadhan next year in the better version of our Pink Mosque (completed the renovations) and for your information, the one that you guys called otak-otak is actually called Pulut Panggang, taste smoked if you could taste it And again, thank you for coming, hope to see you guys again in other occations
Hahaha it's funny to see ur reaction at the food 🤣most of the food that we ate in mosque is tasteless bcs of many reasons, one of it is most of the People who went to mosque is old people one, so maybe they have a disease so the mosque people considered it n makes it a tasteless or little tasteless just like hospital food😂so that the food wouldn't be wasted☺it's such a brilliant Ideas😩n yeah if you didn't like it just be honest, it's ur choice to choose either u like it or not, we're not forcing u to like it bcs everyone has their own dislike or like things🥰😁n yeah Thank you for showing me a Beautiful scenery Inside of the mosque😭I really wanna go there but I'm still young so cannot travel far😂so hontou ni arigatou😊🥰Hope u always enjoy ur life here n explore more interesting n unfamiliar things here🥰sayonara, gokigenyou~
There is also another beautiful mosque nearby, the Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque but mostly people called it Masjid Besi because 70% of the mosque is made from steel. Maybe you guys can visit that mosque later on. There's a lot of beautiful mosque in Malaysia, but if you guys wanna visit for iftar I recommend for you guys visit mosque that nearby with residential area bcs the food much is better there hahaha.
Pulut panggang/ lepa bukan otak2. Otak2 = ikan+ rempah tarok dalam daun kelapa. Pulut panggang= glutinous rice ( pulut) + inti ikan tarok dalam daun Pisang.

Wow finally u got chance to visit putrajaya mosque... Anyway what poko eat something in banana leave was pulut panggang or penang call it pulut udang. The rice we call it pulut, and coconut sambal. So delicious its traditional food.
The one poko eat wrapped in banana leaf is called pulut bakar. It's sticky rice and filling inside is fish. If you want to try legit pulut bakar, you need to visit Terengganu. They make amazing not just pulut bakar, but also keropok lekor, laksam, otak otak, sata, laksa terengganu and definitely you have to try pulut sotong (squid filled with sticky rice)
Pengalaman baru lagi hari ni, berbuka di Masjid. Nanti kalau ada kesempatan awak semua boleh iftar di masjid biru Shah Alam. Cuma kena datang awal. Sebab memang ramai orang berbuka/iftar di masjid tu. Juadah berbuka di situ juga agak memuaskan. You guys are amazing fasting till now. All the best Nobu, Shun & Poko~
9:36 omg, this is 'pulut panggang' one of my fav kuih. You're so lucky if you found the best version of this kuih. My standard is, big, full of that things inside which is 'serunding' and creamy. Not too oily, not too dry and just nice😋

That one kuih is not otak2 it's pulut panggang..which is sticky rice with coconut yg telah dimasak dgn ramuan yg lain dn dipanggang....honestly I'm surprised to see many non Muslim join iftar in mosque of putrajaya 🥺👍🏻 may Allah guide our heart to get hidayah..I'm always pray for all of you..yahh if you want free food you can go to the mosque..every mosque have free food..in ramadhan 🥰
It's okay to not like all of the food u ate. Malaysia have so many tasty food 🤭 but we also have the untasty food too.😬 So if u don't like it, it's normal to not eat them. We all have our own preference 😊 so no need to force yourself to eat something u don't like yahh~🙋🏻♀️ have fun guys~ ps; poko so cute 😆
Shun memang pelajar terbaik..boleh sebut perkataan "Perpustakaan" dengan baik sekali!😊& how about your experience in that mosque..beautiful right?🥰🥰congratulations on your experience there
Good luck nobu and friends for Ramadhan mubarak, can wait hari raya 🤞salam dari Terengganu, Malaysia 🇲🇾🇲🇾❤️🇯🇵
Welldone guys. Proper attire this time for this occasion.
Wow! Loved how y'all fasting with dedication and enjoying Iftar at the beautiful Mosque...😃😃😃from 🇮🇳
Cuba pergi masjid wilayah jalan duta
Guys, I always wait for your videos and I enjoy your vlogs a lot.You guys are sooo cute Mashallah.Lots of love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤
i'd cried for the firstime i enter Putrajaya Mosque.. Its such a beautiful place ever.
What a calm n peaceful video (because at the mosque), very interesting content, well done guys. Actually Poko was eating kuih Pulut Panggang (grilled glutinous rice with spicy grated coconut filling), it'll be more delicious with more filling inside.
Yeah beautiful mosque..I as citizen never been there..thank you guys..keep upload keep jalan jalan..❤
the food is depend by the budget of mosque,i think they get cheapest food to provide more to community . priority is to fill people stomach
All my Malay friends always wanna eat Mine's lunchbox cuz my mom is Thai and her food is way better than Malay's. That's y in Malaysia, during night only Thai Tom Yum and Mamak restaurants r on hit. Malay stalls tidak Laku. Malay cuisines in "general" are bland, oily, non-veggie and full of unhealthy n lil light spices and herbs in their food. Utter piece of poop

Most masjid / mosques provide foods for Iftar during Ramadan, and happy to see you able to join and share the blessing of Ramadhan.
we love you so much guys hope you be muslims and always go to mosque and you feel happy and relax
This is so beautiful😭 this reminds me of a time when I was a student. During Ramadan I would break my fast at the mosque everyday to save money
Hi Nobu, Poko and Shun, thank you for visiting our Pink Mosque, hope you guys will visit again during Ramadhan next year in the better version of our Pink Mosque (completed the renovations) and for your information, the one that you guys called otak-otak is actually called Pulut Panggang, taste smoked if you could taste it
And again, thank you for coming, hope to see you guys again in other occations
Its normal during ramadhan the foods will lack in taste. Really proud of you guys willing to try and learn culture and foods in Malaysia.

Pulut panggang= glutinous rice ( pulut) + inti ikan tarok dalam daun Pisang.
A lot of mosques serving food as charity for iftar. You can try Masjid Sultan Salahuddin at Shah Alam and Masjid TTDI too
If you guys in Putrajaya, you should visit the bazaar there.. It is huge with a lot of food options

Bazaar ramadan are there..
Yes the Putrajaya bazaar ramadan is just beside the mosque.

I love it too, maybe poko had a rather bad one hehe
9:35 That is my favorite kuih called pulut panggang! I love it so much! It's okay if you didn't like it because some people have their own preferences.
