    I've always just lucked into the occasional flounder. Now I can't wait to get out and try some new techniques. Thank you!

    gulp curly tail works great for flounder, but I think the fishbites dirty boxer curly tail is a better bait for flounder.

    Great stuff Justin. Would you share the brand of the 1/0 hook you show? I can't find the spear variety locally or even online, only the twist type (which will likely work the same). Plan to book with you later in July we hope. Appreciate you!

    • @cleanfunfishing
      @cleanfunfishing  2 роки тому

      The one I found and showed is a mustad. 91768kh-bn .. 1/0 is extremely difficult to find unfortunately. If you find a screw lock that will work great too.

    If you don’t mind me asking what size jig head do you use I just started using plastics and have no idea what to use, I kept missing every trout that hit my AM lure

    • @vinh1360

    Great info here! What do you use to edit your videos? You pump them out so often! I just started recording videos and it seems like it takes me forever to download them and start the process. It’s starting to make me not want to record so much. Any help is appreciated. Keep up the great content brother!

      Thank you! I get the videos out the same day as the catch. I use a free editor called "olive video editor" takes about 2 hours for me to edit but 3 to import, export, and upload. Olive has a few kinks but it is really easy for me to use. I've also been using it to make at least 300 videos in 2 years and have it down pretty good.

    What’s the shallowest you’re finding the flounder on the edges?

    • @cleanfunfishing
      @cleanfunfishing  2 роки тому

      less than 6 inches right now with the tides low. Higher tide will be about 12-15 inches on those shallow edges

    I've been using 🐔 boy for about 5 years and I've had better success using a stand up jig and a 4 in shrimp over the tandem. I hate when I get hung up and lose two jigs and 2 soft plastics 🤣🤣🤣my favorite redfish and trout rig is a fishhead underspin paired with a 🐔 boy whippin chicken.
