It's amazing how dolphins can jump so they come down in the same spot and they haven't traveled forward at all. Very cool. I grew up fishin' in Florida, then in Costa Rica, and now in the Chesapeake Bay. Dolphins have been fascinating to watch since I was a kid and they still get my attention.

What a slob of a drum. Wow. I've seen some big ones caught but never tried to target them myself. The smaller ones I've caught were very good eating. I grew up in Florida but I live by the Chesapeake Bay now. There are some gnarly old drum around, red and black, and I should start trying to catch them. I jig for flounder all summer.

I’ll have to try these tips out next time out. Went out Tuesday and got nothing of size but tons of trout from 15-16” on doa shrimp and mirrodines. I usually fish king ranch shoreline area
