The latest generation of fighters, F-22, F-35, don't really push my buttons aesthetically, but as a product, this kit is simply outstanding! It's the first review I've seen on the '35B and I'm blown away by the quality. This is Tamiya at its absolute finest and a perfect example of why, in my opinion, they are the finest model company anywhere in the world. It utterly amazes me that there are those out there who still think, 'Tamiya? Meh!' (They're hilarious.😂) As usual, that was amazing to watch. 👍
I am building this right now - and it's true, the engineering is amazing. No problems at all. I've never seen better and hardly anything on that level.
They reckon you can almost put this together without glue. I found that with the F14 and the Phantom, almost no need for glue as the engineering is that good. Waiting for part two.
The detail in the landing gear bays - DAMN! Engineering on this mold is amazing and details are fantastic! Not sure why Tamiya aircraft seem to get all the love - fit and finish is better than on military vehicles/tanks and car models? Looking forward to part 2! 👍
Excellent build, Dusan . I just got my kit today, and I want to build it with everything down and open. So,is it better to build this kit with the weapon bay open in takeoff or landing mode in your opinion?
