DIY Playhouse Upper and Lower Platforms. Build a Playhouse 2/15

- Now that the base frame is built its time to build the two platforms for the playhouse to sit on. The lower platform is for a hammock and for sitting. The upper platform is for the playhouse to be build on. I use 3/4" treated plywood for the top and decking boards on the bottom.

Love this build. I’m in the beginning planing phases of doing a similar build. I like that you notched your 4x4. Most videos I’ve watched of similar builds, people are using screws or bolts for their support. Have you had any issues thus far with the integrity of the 4x4? I can’t find much on notching them online. Amazing build, thanks again!

Please consider closing off the openings at the ground level. If snakes get under there you don't want them to be able to strike out at little toes next to the platform. Or big toes. . .

Did you use concrete for the 4x4 posts or just soil?
Ground wasp nest can be taken care of by boiling like 5 gallons of water, and pouring into the nest, nontoxic, cooks em all from within.
Where's the ram pump testing area going to be. Project is looking good.

What kind of camera is a good starter camera?
I use three. The main camera is the g7x mii. Then I use a gopro 8 and a dji mavic mini.
I know its the terrain, but combined with the camera angle it looks like that bottom platform is unlevel as all get out, i know its not, just a camera trick/optical illusion.
Haha I see that too! It is level. I have been out there on that platform for two years now.
