I was in Bali till 2 weeks ago. Working Eastern Time is tough, but doable. Just go to bed at 5pm Eastern time, and wake up around 1pm Bali time. That way you've got all afternoon to chill out in Bali, and get a nice sunset every day before starting work at 9pm Bali time.
@@JooseTheNomad yeah I wake up around 10-11am and I get to enjoy the day out, watch the sunset and work at night with few distractions from friends. On the weekends is when I go on longer trips outside Canggu
Thanks for always covering your day-to-day routines. It would be cool to see an "after dark" video. Dinner, bar, club? I know that may not be your typical thing to do but for your audience it would entertaining and insightful.
Hi Joose, We love your videos. We just launched our channel and we are planning our trip to Asia for the next few years so we've been binge watching your videos. Thanks so much for all the inspiration and great information. Sending good vibes from Panama. 🥰
We love Panama, got our residency here in 2021. But it is pretty expensive, almost as much as Costa Rica. Not very many nomads here, harder to find modern accommodations and amenities. We've been here since May this year so we'll be posting all about it in the next months when we catch up on editing. But we're gonna head your way soon, first stop Canggu then Da Nang based on your recommendations. 😊
@JooseTheNomad yeah more of a safe haven for us during the pandemic, it's great if you buy property here it's more for the retirement crowd but not as good for renting or nomads
Get a laptop stand also to help with your posture. One more thing, you can get cheap monitors now that you can take with you, 18.5" 1080p or 18" 4K monitors.
