It's looking good Rob! I always enjoy your videos because I feel like I'm in your train room with you. By the way, your story reminded me of a teacher I had in ninth grade.
Any impact from the hurricane? How many hours a week do you spend working on your layout? Love your videos, and the commentary...no BS. In your river scene maybe you could put a sandbar or small island to create a little more depth. On the island some scrub trees, brush, or snagged logs caught up on the shoreline.
@@davidhenderson9859 all the flooding has occurred 100 ‘Ike’s west of me. I work anywhere from 8 to 16 hours a week on the layout. Great idea concerning the island/sandbar. I’ll probably do something like that.
For areas where wood gain and knots show through, pretreat with shellac or varnish because these will continue to bleed through after you paint. Beter yet, skim coat with plaster prior to painting.
Why is you wearing a kilt ?? - not that there is anything wrong with that !! Looking good bud,, so is the layout,, go finish the kitchen f#@& sakes !!!

Nice work. I envy the space you have available.
@@MosriteCharlie this layout is way to big, pretty overwhelming.
