What is so hard about budgeting is you don't know what black swan event will happen to you( car transmission goes out, the rent goes up, medical emergency happens, dental emergency happens and on and on). That's why an emergency fund of $1,000 to $3,000(even better) must take a priority and finding a part time gig(hopefully at $15 per hour or greater) is a must to fund it. After that is funded the proceeds from your second job can be directed to your credit cards. Getting out of debt on 50K a year take home will feel like it is taking forever. Rooting for your success..........
@@SpicyBricy I wish I could and maybe for some of my vet visits I could but not for the more expensive ones. Pet insurance does not cover any pre-existing conditions or any breed specific conditions. Like I have a French bulldog and she has IVDD and insurance does not cover it. those that visits when she has a flareup from IVDD are so expensive and potentially she could need surgery and none of those is covered by penance.
I attacked my consumer debt smallest to largest (snowball method) and invested in things cheap while they were out of favor to retire early. Retirement savings doesn't have to mean 'retirement plan'.
Do you have any short term goals for the month of September? What about walking another dog over the weekend. Im currently training for marathon in Florida in Feb . Its getting cooler up here in massachusetts. If you want to reach your goals maybe put more practice into your debt. You have a big heart my friend.
I would definitely fight the convenience fee situation. The bank can verify that you've had issues.
@@SpicyBricy mmmm let me look into this.
you make $51,600 a year. how is your debt not payed off by now? it would only take me 2 years to pay that off. you need to move in with your kids ms.
@@sirgigglez y’all are wild I made $75,000 a year but unfortunately taxes take a lot of that
Digs are really expensive since vet prices have more than tripled since them pandemic. I know we could never afford multiple dogs
@@maryklus1430 me either one is good for me.

Do you have any retirement savings? If so you might about to retire in 8 years
I believe the intro said I have no retirement savings maybe I missed that but no I have nothing saved
Convenience fee of $48??? Wow...convenient for who?
Yes I think it’s $48.58. So wild!
I think you might could benefit from pet insurance, maybe? Idk anything about it, but I have heard of people having it on high maintenance pets...🤔
