When I got my miyoo mini as first ever Pokémon game I picked up randomly firered got 5-6 hours in then learned what rom hacks are and randomly picked unbound… after 50 hours lost and as someone who isn’t Pokémon fan… haven’t seen better game so far… truly Joey choose to speak facts… it’s 10/10 wonder if there is anything to match that
Nice list! I'd say the best 3 romhacks are Unbound, Prism, and Radical Red. Crystal Clear is also in the mix if you are wanting something less conventional.
I wish you would explain in the beginning what a rom hack is exactly for newbies. Are they standalone games that need to be downloaded separately? Or are those "hacks" applied to the original games that they are based on? You really have to explain those things because most people watching are newbies haha

It just works. Make sure you have mm+ set to update the clock from Wi-Fi in the Tweaks System menu.

Checksum error sounds like the wrong revision/rom. You'll have to find the right rom version, Unbound needs 1.0.

You need to patch that file to the original rom. You'll want to read their instructions.

I would definitely play the OG versions first, which for most of this list is FireRed. It's a more complete version of Yellow basically.

I don't, but it's the same process as any other romhack, patch the rom with the romhack and move the rom to the Miyoo gba folder.
