@@thruitallauto2538 the trans cooler was never fixed. It was simply moved and the exhaust was removed. The fuel filter/regulator was going to get redone with the rewire. That brake line was also not actually fixed. No new brake fluid was added, and it still leaks.

Travis WAS the old channel. And with Jessie their current channel is a winner! She reminds me of my wife - tall and beautiful. Watching Travis is looking into the LS encyclopedia with his wealth of knowledge and skills. The rename of the old channel is really hokey.
You know why divorcees and break ups are so expensive??? Because they are (SO WORTH) every penny they cost you. I know of a waitress. She owned a 70 SS454, 69 Z28, 69 Mach I, and some other nice cars she claimed. When asked how she got those nice cars, she said she marries and divorces to get them. Be thankful you got anything back that she claimed to own at one time and feel good what you did get back was not in a wheelbarrow or ashes. NOBODIES business what happened, it happened. Move on and forget about it, plenty of men (me included) have paid a higher price to find happiness. Your car your choice, but, I would find a better way to mount the radiator and trans cooler up front. The weight penalty for a bracket will pay back a few times over if you loose your trans cooler going over a tire cap on the freeway and can't stop in time. Thanks for the video.

As for the Firebird, I agree putting on fiberglass doors should lighten up the body very well and provide much weight savings. Those steel doors are much heavier than they look. Hope you can mount that transmission cooler much better. It really sucks they won't give you back those gauges that you asked for. Hopefully you can easily find replacements. I really enjoy your channel. Look forward to seeing all you do to make this Firebird into a 9 second car.

295/55r15 28x12.5 mickey Thompson ET/SS on a 15x10 centerline convo pro 2.0 5”bs. Fronts are 26x6 ET street fronts. 15x4 centerline convo pro 2.0. I have since switched to a Mickey Thompson ET/R 275/50r15 26x11.5 to go faster on the track. The car is super light and is actually taller in the rear than stock. You’d have to do a fair bit of clearancing to get these to fit and be low.
@@travisblack417 Perfect that is the exact tire and size i was looking at, what are some problem areas you can see for lowering the car. The fitment in the wheel well looks great but im interested in these for track/autocross use, so i would probably go a little lower. If the leaf springs and shock arent problem areas, then im assuming rolling the fender and installing mini tubs will be good enough then? Ill buy the tire and size it up against my car but any information helps.

Im building the car to be almost Trans Am spec, so 15/16 inch rims with meats are what im going for but its hard to find rubber this size that isnt purely for drag racing. MTs website said these were good for road and track but i guess i shouldnt have trusted that. Any recommendations? The only other option ive been able to find are 27x11-15 from goodyear made for stock cars, might be the closest/period correct ill be able to find
I started watching your videos of you pulling junkyard motors, and though this guy would be great to know and go to the u-pull yards with. Then I got the bug and decided to pull three aluminum 5.3's at local u-pulls instead of the cast iron I had been thinking of since nobody else wanted to pull them out of trailblazers. Then I noticed you were not in her videos anymore and her videos bored me and stopped watching. I love seeing women interested in the car hobby, but you are what made the videos good, and without you in them I lost interest. Glad to find your videos again, and look forward to more.

It was originally done by a guy locally, but he never finished it. Not sure who actually finished it, but the paint job is terrible and already flaking off. I’ll probably paint the entire interior myself (again).

I’ve cut the crash beams out of the doors and that saved 38lbs. Even with them out they’re 80lbs each lol.
