1997 Ford Explorer broken actuator/ blend door. Easy temporary fix.

The a/c wasn’t working on this 1997 Ford Explorer. It would only blow hot air. This is a super easy temporary fix. You only need a razor knife and some Gorilla tape.

Thanks this worked on my 1996 ford explorer 5.0 it was only blowing heat i pushed the door i cut out now it is blowing cold air

Thank you SO much for this video! Been driving with my heat blasting (out of the single open passenger side vent with all others shut and angled away from me) all summer. Got tired of paying my mechanic $50 a season to “fix” this for me. You are the BOMB for uploading this fix. Currently enjoying some nice cool AC. CHEERS!

Yes. Of course it is even easier to move back.

They have no cabin air filter
