No, the guy who wrote this song is not dead. Yes, Father Yod is dead; but he didn't write this song Home. Home is a song that was written and performed by Djin Aquarian, an integral singer/songwriter & musician of The Source Family and who is still very much alive!
Laura Garon hey sorry about my username, I don't want to put my real one. But first off, I'd like to thank you for informing me on the origins of this beautiful song. I watched the documentary and this song struck a particular chord with me and I had to search all over the web and eventually pay a couple bucks for this track and felt the need to share it. Thank you for setting me straight and letting me know who wrote this beautiful song that has provided me with much musical inspiration
People have to understand that this was early 70s....things were very, very different..it was all different..they didn't hurt anyone intentionally..just wanted to do there own thing....Jim got a little carried away with the influence he had I guess....I'm 51 yo..I'm a hippie at heart...the hippie's of that era are now holding our country together because they lived real Peace n love....look at how things have changed..the world has changed...look at what we are doing now.,..communicating on a phone from all parts of the world on stuff we know nothing about....from what I can see this guy Jim was just older and pretty intelligent and got kids who had a ruff time join him.they didn't hurt anyone....and I think if more people had there relaxed attitude they have even today the world would be a better place....
i had to buy it online off some mp3 website and then upload it here, because i figured other people probably tried searching for this too, glad you enjoyed it!
