I invited Gabe to host a couple of disabled combat vets on his boat for the 2nd annual Marksman Benefit Shootout that supports two Florida based Veterans charities. Its a bowfishing tournament where we get boats from all over the south and dozens of vets involved with a lots of prizes to win. The two charities that the tournament benefits takes Disabled Vets on all expenses paid hunting and fishing trips in Florida; they are VetCatch and The Fallen Outdoors. I figured it would be right up Gabe's alley! 1

Hey just a kitchen tip cut the onion first and then do lemon and lime ( citrus juice helps get onion smell off hands) I use my squeezed lemon and dish soap to scrub my hand

I knew the editing was different from the beginning. Great job, Jared! Lots of great B roll. I like the old vlog style too. Try blanching the lobster tail to make it easier to get out. I’ve seen others do that.
You ought to try frying up some of that lion fish. I was down in the Bahamas diving and we speared about 20 of them one day and that night fried them up with peanut oil and a egg wash and cornmeal dusting. I am telling you it was some of the BEST fried fish I have ever had.....and I have eaten tons of it over the yrs!!!!👌👌👌🐟🐟😎
And then he broke out the Lobster head soup with Mai Fun rice noodles...dang! What a job editing Jared! Can't go wrong with a BlueGabe Lobster/Lionfish video!!!

Whenever I watch and that is often I find your videos interesting...so don't worry about that...just keep doing whatever it is that you do...Also, I've seen a lot of videos clean and cook Lobster and no one has used the head of the Spiny Lobster till you...that scores big point in my book...!!!
I know I'm a bit late on the comment but there's two I'd make for this video. 1sts ~ For citrus to get the juice out easier before cutting you can roll them on the counter top with the heal of your hand. Gabe, the tip on catching the seeds was awesome. Seeds in my ice tea a pet peeve of mine fo sho. 2nd tip ~ the avocado, no judging but there is an easier way to get the seed out of the half'd avo. If your shy of your knife, hold the avocado in a towel or place the half on a cutting board. Now take your fillet or chefs knife and quickly cut into the seed directly, using the middle of the knife. Goal here is to get the knife to stick in the seed in the middle of it. Now with the knife firmly in the seed gently press down to keep contact and rotate. The seed will pop free of the avo clean, ez peazy. Now remove the seed, hold it over a trashcan. From the back, unsharp or heel of the knife take thumb and index finger either side of knife and pinch that sucka off. You done and no fiddling with the spoon all the avo comes off.
Throw the lobster in ice water on the boat and it’ll peal out of the shell easer. If not you can just ice or fridge over night for the same result. Works every time.

Tip for ceviche: add a bit of salt when you add the lime and lemon so the fish cooks faster 👌🏼 and avocado is good on anything 🤤specially ceviche!!!
