me: *is severely upset about tros and is still crying*

The yellow saber is also a reference to the original Luke toy when they got the saber color wrong and made it yellow instead of blue
YUP, mine has it.
The movie was good, I don't understand how anyone could not like it.
@@jakewilferd6093 Yeah man they should've just resurrected Carrie Fisher so that she could've had more scenes. What the hell were they thinking?
Heh, The Dragon Lady herself. You Mary Sues just like to help each other huh? I am just kidding I enjoyed the movie too.
@@scoob1551 yeah, it's not like they had ANY opportunities to get the "gang" together before Carrie passed. Perhaps if they had approached the sequel trilogy as a passing of the torch instead of an exorcism of..but what do us fans know
I knew Rey was a Palpatine, since The Force Awakens, when she fights Kylo, she fights like Palpatine!
Number 5 is called “force echo” btw
Ben doesn’t apologize to Han. He says, “I love you” to him. And Han says, “I know”.

#1 A Compelling Plot.
#2 Character Development.
#3 Dialog based on real human conversations and not one liners to generically move the story along.
#4 Abilities based on years of discipline as opposed to just Harry Potter magic or X-men powers.
#5 Celebrities/Actors that aren't in the movie just so they can brag to their friends that they were in Star Wars.
I believe Anthony Daniels (C3PO) had another role as a fighter pilot in the last assault.
Wedge was played by Denis Lawson, the same actor who played him in the original trilogy.
You missed the bit when Palpatine showed Rey the battle above them just like he showed Luke in ROTJ
JJ Abrams be like:
Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V
Director: Shall we make Rey the most OP character in the saga?
Palpatine: Don't DO IT!
J.J.: You can be her grandad. Then it will come from you.
Palpatine: Do it.
What happened to that little kid that was in the end of the last movie
These aren't "things you missed".
These are "interesting facts you couldn't have possibly known just by watching it".
Holden Caulfield everyone knew this if they watched this 80 times
You know, there was the Endgame reference that was ever so obvious in the final battle. You know, like the:
Poe: It’s over, there’s too many of them.
Lando: On your le- I mean, but there’s more of us.
Palpatine: I am all the Sith.
Rey: And I am Iron Ma- I mean, all the Jedi.
Like straight lifted from the Pitch Meeting for Episode IX.
The first thing is a huge cliche that's happened in countless movies before. The second situation means something completely different.
Ben solo saved this trilogy
I'm curious as to your definition of saved
Adam Driver probably was the best thing about the trilogy ngl, unreal actor tbf
Ben Swolo?
Such a great actor (Adam Driver), Kylo was my favorite character of the saga. It’s a shame we didn’t get Darth Jar Jar :(
Logan Foote they killed off the best character of the sequels. No more Solos
"while he may have shuffled off this mortal coil..." You made my day by connecting my two very favourites, Star Wars and Hamlet!
Wedge actually is mentioned throughout the sequel trilogy as his son is a character in the force awakens and the rise of Skywalker
When mentioning the 1 in a million Holdo-maneuver you could have mentioned that in the sequence with the crashing star destroyers all over the galaxy you can actually see one seemingly frozen in the sky being split by a Holdo-maneuver.
Please don't call it a Holdo maneuver.
You can also argue Obi Wan used force heal on Luke after the Tuscans attacked him in A New Hope. Although it doesn’t state that anywhere it does look like it so take that as you like.
disagree
So, no....but if we're all making assertions with no basis..fits right in with this movie.
lol. I just watched that part in New Hope. To compare Ben checking to see if Luke is ok ,with Rey INSTANTLY healing a cauterized hole through a body you can put your arm through , didn't look like the same force ability to me. Luke didn't even have a scratch or bruise or get his clothes dirty.
A wayfinder, a Sith lord kitchen utensil LOL
I believe it's proper name is Macguffin..or mcguffin.
@@Lostjayyhawk yeah, McGuffin, unlimited supply at McDonald's :-)
Jedi Holycron would've been better.
The ship in the mashup directy below the Falcon's port aft section, is a Lantillian GX-1.
Seen in a few episodes of the various animated series. It was originally a first draft of the Emperors Shuttle, pre-Shuttle Tydirium. And was first introduced in West End Games.
Bruh force healing was in A New Hope. Obi wan healed Luke’s head when he was ko’d

When I saw the movie, I was able to notice the Ghost from Star Wars Rebels and a cameo by George Lucas
Pretty sure George wasn't in it

I saw George Lucas in it too. And the voice of Kaleb
The ghost, chopper and the mention the green girl in rogue one
I saw Boba Fett, Darth Maul, and Jaba The Hutt
I don’t care what anyone says, this movie was amazing
Which makes me mad JJ didn't do episode 8

Agreed. The movie got so many bad reviews and a lot of people seem to not like it. Just saw it tonight and I just don’t understand all the hate it’s been getting.

dakken74 ah makes sense
Everyone missed something significant. When Kylo Ren is healed by Rey, then realizes that Lea died, and has a vision of his dad, look at his face. As Kylo Ren dies and Ben is reborn, his face scars heal to become Ben.
Never missed that. This film was cringey
Lady: Who are you?
Rey: Rey!
Lady: Rey who?
* Looks into the distance*
Rey: Rey cism!
Wow
Lol, but you kinda should be careful saying stuff like that still lol
It would have been better if she'd said, "Plissken….. call me Snake!"
Chewy finally got his medal!! Probably obvious to big fans, but my family didn't understand that part. (I'm not a huge fan, I just like Chewy)

Rei couldve used THE WORLD when fighting Palpatine
Rey:Berries Anakin’s lightsabers sand

General Greevious:oooo that will make a fine addition to my collection
Dominic Monaghan made a small guest appearance. Many will remember him as Merry from Lord of the Rings.
All I want to know is what the hell was Fin going to tell Rey????!
A good question, for another time...
MizFyre either he is in love or that he feels the force (maybe he didn’t tell her he loves her when he meets the female version of himself )
That he is force sensitive
@@levih.2236 how the hell does anyone know that for a fact? when he didn't say ANYTHING
MizFyre it is of course a best guess
But then, they made Rey look like Han and Leia’s kid in force awakens and changed it along the way, so who knows
I’m a huge Star Wars geek I want to watch all star wars movies from the first to the latest
Andrew Burtin I did that in storyline chronological order just before this movie.
The festival appears to be more like the Hindu Festival of Diwali or Holi, even the elephant like creatures and the outfits of the natives
FrndsCallMeDaz yeah the costume and set design and even the beads the little one gave Rey had an Indian or Nepalese vibe.
It looked Indian lol
When Ben Kenobi is back, his body language in the final battle with the Knights of Ren resembles several Harrison Ford characters such as Indiana Jones (compare the famous sword fight on the market) as well as Han Solo obviously. Strikingly different from his body language and fighting style as Kyle Ren.

I thought I heard a Wilhelm scream early in the film but I've only seen it once and I can't tell you exactly where it was located (yet).
@@fieldfilms I didn't listen to it on my first and second viewing, though there was something that resembles it when they land on the first order ship after kijimi

I thought I heard it when they landed on the star destroyer using the Captain's medallion, one of the troopers says, "I need to see your credentials," then bang-bang, Wilhelm screem

It's not a jab at TLJ.
“I’ll say, I think that people who say “Oh, this film is flipping off The Last Jedi”, like when Luke says the thing he does about the lightsaber…If the scene in The Last Jedi, where Luke tosses the saber over his shoulder, was immediately followed by Luke saying “A Jedi’s weapon deserves more respect,” I’d think it was insane. But one of the many brilliant things that Rian did in Last Jedi was give Luke an arc. He learned something. He got somewhere. He ended that film and recommitted to the thing that in the very beginning of the film, he was rejecting. The idea that even Luke Skywalker can learn something. For a kid to hear Luke Skywalker say ‘I was wrong,’ I think is a beautiful thing.”
-JJ Abrams
Oh wow. A Hollywood big-wig saying something politically correct, regardless of their true feelings. I bet Mark Hamill truly loved the end result of this disney trilogy too.
@@Lostjayyhawk omg even when a person says whatever you still believe whatever you want to believe that will fit your own narrative. Luke had a massive arc in TLJ and in TRoS it was meant to show that. It was the best thing about TRoS, one of the only things Disney didn't back track on.
Ryan carry’s you like how Adam carry’s this trilogy
When R2 restores 3POs memory (something which 3PO was nervous about, because R2 wasn't consistent about backing up his data regularly), he is only able to restore him up to the very moment of "Rey's first mission", right before the last scene of "Force Awakens". Therefore, any memory of the events of the "Last Jedi" had been permanently erased from 3POs memory. Surprised you did not catch that one.
I'm surprised Abrams didn't include the starship Enterprise in the reinforcements fleet.
It was there
He included the Ghost
wouldn't surprise me... it fly's by the window in one of the prequels...
Palpatine is back and living on dialysis, I'm scared
Vampirism is now part of starwars.
Did you miss Palpatine has shot himself in the face with lightning 3 times now?
As soon as she went for the block I knew his face was about to catch on fire lmao
...maybe he likes it :)
And someone noticed he did that in every last movie of every trilogy.
I can’t remember her name but also, in one of the scenes with Finn and the girl that was also a storm trooper, the moment they start talking, the Main Menu music of the PlayStation 2 game of Revenge of Sith is what is playing in the background
Thankyou for giving wedge the respect he so deserved... lol I screamed and yelled in the theatre “MAH BOI WEDGE!” And never have I been so hyped to hear 20 others yell “Yeah Wedge!” Honestly the only character to me that was the reason I wanted to be a Star Wars pilot for Halloween. Go Rogue Three
