I have seen USA vlogs they never face any issue to find charging station because google & apple has provided there, that’s why electric are very famous in USA especially Tesla

3:57 now I understand why Apple is going with the brand new Apple CarPlay. Makes so much sense to have Apple design the software for so many screens vs what Merc or any other OEM can do. Excited for this stuff

One major drawback of EV cars is the knees up seating on back seat . Not really comfortable 😕

I just want to ask Autocar India that how reliable these cars will be in the future. Too much tech, sometimes unnecessary and overdone. Gizmos are always good and great to look at but are they certainly provide great value? I understand that it will not be efficient to include buttons and all in electric car. Why can't cars be basic? Am I exaggerating everything or this is a valid point?
You do have a point. These German manufacturers follow this strange trend of overdoing their interiors with too many gimmicks and techy stuff which half of the times aren't even gonna be used.
Most likely just a show of flex.
This is meant to be luxury electric series vehicle, if u want basic it’s also available .,,,,,it depends on personal choice.....I have driven this car, at first I felt like u, but then after realizing the features it’s worth it, although I personally don’t like too much RGB luminous lighting.....but sometimes it looks cool as well
I agree with you. Seems like majority of car manufacturers have this notion that EV car design should be futuristic with all bells and whistles to differentiate it from ICE cars.
They seem be to inspired by tesla.

Renuka is the Richard Hammond of Autocar India, considering the fact that she's mentioned her height numerous times on this episode, LOL. No offence, I love her presentations.
Certain controls doooo need *physical buttons* , especially for volume control, AC fan blower, temperature 🌡 knob, is a *need*
All touch option is gimmicky and unusable when required ( that causes much more distraction )
That is sad what new gen car are equipped like this 🙆🏻♂️💔
Apart from that and exterior looks this Merc is ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Merc is a flagship car 🚗

No electric retracting rear seat for increasing boot space ?? Like seriously 🤣🤣. Ford endeavour which is way way way cheaper than this gets it common mercedes

What the Hell is with all these screens everywhere!
How many people can be able to buy this car.....it's definitely for the privileged few....after spending a huge amount on it the whole purpose of economics is defeated.
Definitively this car will be for the ultra rare 1% of the our population. And what for? Driving in pothole filled indian roads, co-existing with psycho squids, and the funny thing is you can't drive this engg marvel beyond 120 km/hr legally.. Poor Renuka ji have to fly to Stuttgart to make this video and not here in our beloved roads.
Definition of over-engineering.
This car doesn't look good for the price. From front Its looks like a big Honda City with fancy color and hed lights .
i didnt like the exterior design at all,doesnt give S class vibes at all
Electric is not future hybrid is a good option
