I love and collect English and American ironstone but I really love Shenango and Jackson restaurant ware which I have been collecting since the 1980s. I have some really old Jackson pieces when they were marked Jaxon. Thanks for this video!

I enjoyed learning a little bit of history on Ironstone. I’ve been collecting it for quite a few years. Mostly I have pitchers n a couple of chamber pots ( which I love). I also have a lot of restaurant (or diners they called them back then) dishes. Such as plates, bowls n on the bottom says
SYSCOWARE has number n China. They are very heavy n I’m sure not Ironstone but I love em n use them daily. They are all white. ♥️😊👍

Definitely sounds like restaurantware Shelly--sometimes I find these pieces more beautiful than English ironstone!

Since plenty of vintage restaurantware was made before microwaves were even invented, I'm going to say no, but Google could probably provide some insights. And I agree, very interesting bunch of antiques!
