    Can’t dis on Djokovic so he has to photoshop the middle finger in… hilarious and pathetic, and so obviously biased
    The underarm serve from Nick isn’t unsportsmanlike; it’s IN THE RULES… you might not like it, but it’s legal

  • @Milos-mk9pb
    @Milos-mk9pb Рік тому +200

    Somehow Djokovic is the only player in this for a racket break. Every player on the tour breaks rackets. Before anyone mentions Federer and Nadal, just know those guys have also had their fair share of bad sportsmanship.

    • @ericzhong5863
      @ericzhong5863 Рік тому +23

      yea by fair share you mean
      Fed 5% (for one racket smashed in 2008? and a few when he was younger and "being classy" wasnt his thing)
      Nadal 0% (Literally never)
      Djokovic 95% (smashing till this day, and that's underestimating because he surely smashed more than 19X rackets than Fed)
      if you are just talking about racket smashing.
      Honestly he isn't mistreated here, please... The guy is the best, but his sportsmanship really isnt.

    • @inachos9766
      @inachos9766 Рік тому +51

      @@ericzhong5863 Not exactly, I see lots of intervals where young players look up to Djokovic because he has given young players confidence and motivation. Holger Rune said this about Djokovic "I haven't heard Federer and Nadal giving to much advice to young players... But according to me Djokovic is the most giving." The reason why we antagonize Nole here, is because the Western media criticize him naturally causing many tennis fans to view him as a villain. In reality, Novak is the essence of pure class.

    • @ericzhong5863
      @ericzhong5863 Рік тому +6

      @@inachos9766 I was sticking to the racket smashing aspect. Also, he sometimes has this gamesmanship which is evident and is not just criticized by the media but some players too. E.g Murray once accused him for faking juries, and there is a foottage of him cheating Wawrinka a point at a crucial deuce in a five-setter AO. There are countless times he seems injured during a match, but is not in anyway slower, just 2 games later. It is of course allowed, but it does not match his ability, he doesnt need to do those stuff.
      Besides that, I can tell actually Novak is one of the more geniune guys who are not scared of saying what he really thinks. And he is gracious in losing. However, I also dont think blaming the media entirely is comprehensive. I recognize his case as simply a very bad PR management added to his sometimes uncommon personal beliefs. PR is something that he doesnt put much attention to and doesnt care.

    medvedev can do anything, such as that heated argument, very serious
    but somehow many think the one that does the bad sportmanship is Novak...
    couldnt be more wrong
    totally biased

      Incorrect. Novak is as bad if not worse. He interrupts his opponents rhythm with fake injuries, tantrums, walking off the court etc

    I'd never understand why *professional* players of *any* sport argue with the referees/umpires rather than learn that humans make mistakes and *cope* with it... at the end of the day, she lost the whole match because of a point that *possibly* was missed by the umpire... and I have *never ever* seen a referee correcting a decision like this

      I think it's more about needing to vent off anger. They seek an emotional outlet

      You seem to lack understanding of professional player's minds. They invested far more into this than we have into anything in our lifes. Also a lot more is on the line. These players obviously are more prone to tilt than any amteur. That it is stupid is out of question though, it obviously is.
