Hey, thanks for watching! I find it fascinating to see civilization migrate from waterways to railways to highways over time. Some places that were hugely busy in the past are often all but gone nowadays, mainly because of advances in transportation, etc.
I have heard of New Market all my life, but I have never been there. Someday. My great grandfather was part of New Market's history, being one of those killed in the train wreck of 1904.
We moved there back in 2019 and i love getting to learn more about my forever home ❤

New Market started out as Tuckertown after a local tavern that still stands today.
