Currently obsessed with Pokey LaFarge.
Just love the sound of Pocky Lafarge thanks for sharing.
I am still listening to the old band with Cloe and the trumpet player. Can't beat it.
I agree! The older band's sound was so much more distinct and original. This just sounds like some kind of formulated "pop" music.
I'm not impressed with this phase of the band. Like Mr. Marklow stated, formulated pop music cranked out of a pop music machine.
@@CaptSkidmark all of the original south city three are in this band here too.
and I appreciate the unpolished and raw sound from the older recordings too. But i think for a musician, it is quite different. At least for the one or two people that i know that enjoy making music more seriously, albeit still not professionally, they strive for this quality of sound. They jump at the opportunity to record something this clean.
@@soulbasskenny what pop music have you been listening to?
Amazingly fun and enjoyable music and songs.
After listening to Pokey speak in interviews, and listening to his other music, I have to say that this is the most inspiring thing I've seen in a long time. This musician is the real thing. His choice of music to perform and the emotion he puts into it is riveting. If you haven't heard of him before, this is a really good intro. He gets a lot of respect from the people who interview him.
hes a respect and his music makes me smile and sad and drunk and and ....
i guess I'm kind of off topic but do anybody know of a good site to watch newly released series online?
@Angelo Yehuda Flixportal xD

Cool as funk. Keep on keeping on
Pretty impressive that Chris Parnell manages to play both upright bass and the drums at the same time.

Wondering why I can't "share" this..?

i dont want to preach to anybody live and let live
yall really do have everyone I listen to on here huh
The harmonica guy is like the boss after you defeat all the other hipsters 😂
no, he actually has style ... coming from WAY before any hipster fakebeardscrap
He is also a very good harp player !!
Loved the old band with Cloe and trumpet player. I bought that music and came to see the band. The Dylan copy does not make it for me. To many people preaching to me already
Michael Hamilton Deal with it snowflake.
I'll be hard on this great art.... but loose the brass section. I prefered the original lineup the twin city three
Great music however, bad lyrics on the Riot in the Streets song. I would give Pokey and Co a take back easily though. Hind sight is 20/20.
whats wrong with the lyrics?
I wanted to like it.. but it's way too simple. This isn't musical genius. It's pretty standard progressions and its overall pretty "meh" to me. Hell, one of those songs sounded like a No Doubt song.
Bob Dylan wanna be
Huh?? Not even close. Just because these songs have the sound of a particular decade doesn't imply he is a Dylan copy. He also writes music that has a turn of the century flavor...I think he just had a lot of influences
Yeah i don't hear Bob Dylan at all
