    I really love all your videos and I always have since the beginning. I remember when you both did this video. I love the recipes, of course, but I watch your videos sometimes 2,3,4 times or more. I share them with people that I know. Thank you very much for what you and Cara do besides everything that you both put into these videos! I appreciate, admire and love all your content with my whole heart and soul! ❤❤❤

    Markus vids are unique. I cant tell the difference between most vid/photography channels unless i look at the the channels name. Theyre all the same, cheezy slow mo shots, ridiculous amounts of bokeh even if the background is 1ft away, same low-fi music tracks, and blah blah.. blah
    Markus doesn't follow ridiculous trends.

    Pansonic 900 - $300 bucks ...
    Lamborgini Huracan - $200,000
    Drone + Camera - $20,000 (Or more)
    SONY FS 700 - $3,000
    Gimbal $1000 - $3000 ?
    Lens - $5,000 - $20,000
    Segway - $500 -$1000k
    Costumes - $$
    Use of Factory location $ ?
    Location Permits - $ ?
    Production Costs Estimate: $300,000 + Panasonic 900 - $300 = more money than %99.5 of Americans can afford.

    • @MarkusPix
      @MarkusPix  3 роки тому +2

      Yes but the footage I ended up using for the actual recipe part with her talking was from the little camcorder, which was my whole point.

    • @1clap
      @1clap 3 роки тому +1

      You can rent a lomborghini Huracan 2000 $ for 3 days, and rent all the rest for 3000 $. Factory location can be free if you ask nicely ;) , so Production costs can be less than 6000 $ and that's something Americans can afford. Markus has a point > It's all about the fun, and I believe 99.5% of Americans can afford having fun without any money.. We need more people like him on youtube to change the overall increase of darkness and sadening violence on the new streams.. Don't stop Markus, please carry on :D

    Ha ha! I love it. You won't believe this but I've been working for over a year to do a spy version of my own with my favorite puppet Jestunes. It was my New Year's resolution for 2020 when I decided to become a puppeteer to make a music video cheap. Was having the hardest time with filming using 2 Chinese knockoffs of the Go Pro, (did I mention cheap) but just wasn't able to get a good film quality till last week when I was inspired to buy a used Sony HDR CX 405 after watching your video about camcorders a few times. BTW thanks again for that.
    Well now I'm rescheduling my low budget film (and I do mean low in the negative sense haha) and stopping buying and making props for the spy movie, and working on the actual scenes.
    Going for a funny but serious puppet adventure for all ages. Thought you would like to know I will be using many of your ideas. So feel good about all the videos you make. You will at least get me as a by product of your hard work as well, inspiring others to make a video with what you have.
    Oh did I miss something. I couldn't find part 1 of making of spy girl on youtube. Oh and I loved what you did with this spy film. Great props and ideas. Thanks for sharing...

    You are probably the only UA-camr who likes Camecorders. I love how much effort you put on your videos. I made the same experience that DSLRs are absolute sh*t for filming, but luckily a friend of my dad gave me his old Canon XL2. This camera has a poor video quality and it records on MiniDV but its better than nothing. I will buy me a better one when I am out school and then out of university and finally can work, so I gain money.
    Excuse my writing mistakes, if there are any.
    Greetings from Germany

    Lovin' these BTS videos! If anything, they confirm that location, set design, costumes, lighting, basically everything in front of the lens makes a bigger impact on the final product/image than the camera itself. Spend the money on what shows up on screen and minimize expenses that don't. Production value trumps camera specs :)

  • @memathews
    @memathews 3 роки тому

    Fun to see the bts on this. Yes, it seems crazy for a recipe video, but it supports the brand. Always so much paperwork to deal with shooting around anything real like a water plant or Air Force Base.
    The FAA shut me down once because I mounted a blow up King Kong on the side of the Anaheim Hilton parking structure for a technology trade show. All the papers were signed with the trade show, the hotel, and the city. Turned out this was on the flight path to John Wayne Airport and pilots were reporting it as a danger. It's amazing how many jurisdictions overlap without knowing it.
    I can hardly wait to see how you built that chair. I want one for zoom calls 😂🤣
