- The Las Vegas Sphere has opened with a 25-concert residency by U2. The geodesic dome cost $2.3 billion to construct over five years. The venue is large enough to fit the Statue of Liberty inside it and seats more than 18,000 people.
It has a 160,000 sq ft LED screen and 10,000 haptic seats that allow concertgoers to “feel” the music. The venue has drawn complaints on it's opening that its displays distract drivers and are causing gridlock on the roads as people slow to take pictures.

I would be there in the grid lock, I bet more people complain later that it keeps people awake at night, even though it’s in Vegas 🎉
I worked for them in 1992 on the original ZOO TV tour
Oh
Went to Leeds in the 90s to see them £20 a ticket

They want to build one of these in East London. Doubt the locals will be happy
Why do they ignore light pollution?
@@yttdsadeceyttd I read that the locals were offered blinds by the developer. It's a great idea but without the external light show
Creepy 😟
