- I look at the Royal Mint in. Cardiff, where I'm told police will be called if they see the drone go over.

Cringe whenever you fly so low. The CAA rules are just from the point of view of drone safety - "The UK’s drone rules are based on the risk of the flight." Trespass is another matter.
"The lower stratum is the area around and above a property that the owner can expect to reasonably enjoy - in other words, interference by others into this area is usually deemed an act of trespass."
As a lawyer for the claimant, I'd advise them against making a claim for trespass in the civil courts. Costs will far outweigh any damages awarded. I'd then invoice them £300+VAT for my advice.
As a lawyer for the defendant, I'd provide my advice free of charge, and offer to represent him on a no-win-no-fee basis.
@@zerocompanyhq And if the claimant was a lawyer's office specialising in trespass, your cost wouldn't apply. It is irrelevant whether the costs are too much. What matters is the right and wrong of it. If a store thief gets away with stealing because the store finds it too expensive to prosecute or the police/courts are too busy ... that doesn't make the theft a right.

DJE, not every CF postcode is Cardiff, The Royal Mint is around 15 miles from Cardiff in Pontyclun, not even the Mint website will list it as Cardiff.

the drone story at 6:00 reminds me of a story a couple of years ago when the police were looking for a drone at an airport, and it turns out it was their own drone. Naturally they closed off the entire airport and probably half the country whilst exposing their own shortcomings.

The Royal Mint is such a sketchy company, never buy from them direct.
Visited there before the security is such a high level for obvious reasons they have millions and millions of pounds kept inside. The tour of the factory was very interesting but you couldn't get away with taking even 1 penny 😂
