What is the best skin in this game?
Retro crash
If we're talking about bonuses (because design is subjective), we need to ask two things:
1. Is the resource stupidly rare for its use, such that a boost would be much appreciated? If so, upgrading that is important. The major ones to look out for are the Egg Construction items (Pop Flowers, Frost Berries, Lava Bubbles, and whatever those atom things are for Void Eggs), as you'll need tons of them to funnel into Eggs and then Bazookas and Rays.
2. Is the resource stupidly common for its use, such that a boost would translate to significant amounts of Wumpa to turn into Trophies, and thus win seasons? This is a much longer play, but the logic is that winning a season will grant you more Crystals faster (and more skins too), thus enabling you to get more variety in your boosts faster. I wouldn't focus much on this unless you've more or less taken care of the first point.
Now, with that in mind, we'll ideally want a skin that gives an 80% boost to an Egg resource. Kupuna-Wa meets this criteria by boosting Pop Flowers, Retro Space (Coco) does the same by boosting Frost Berries, and Robot (Coco) also fits by boosting Lava Bubbles. There does not seem to be any boost for the Void Egg item at this time.
Out of those three, Kupuna-Wa also boosts Frost Boss Trophies, Retro Space boosts Nitro Boss Trophies, and Robot boosts Frost Boss Trophies. Frost seems to show up more than Nitro as a Boss element, and Lava Bubbles seem to be more common than Pop Flowers, so the winner of "most useful" skin goes to Kupuna-Wa... for now, anyway.
Retro Crash is another serious contender though, if only because he boosts _two_ resources. But neither of those are Egg items, so it's not enough to beat the trifecta of Coco skins I listed above.
@@ShadwSonic u changed the boss bonuses for retro space(FROST) and robot(NITRO). So that means that Kapuna-Wa and Retro Space have the same 80% bonus for Frost Bosses. We should only decide between Kapuna-Wa and Retro Space, because as u said, lava bubbles are extremely in excess. My hypothesis is, that u need ice berries more often. We need 5 nitro eggs for the nitro bazooka but 6 ice eggs for ice bazookas. So the demand on ice berries is slightly higher. In my opinion this is the ranking:
#1: Coco - Retro Space
#2: Coco - Kapuna-Wa
#3: Crash - Retro (because of 2 bonuses and IMO freeze brain is a good bonus)
4# Coco - Retro / Crash - Robot (but i would tend for Coco - Retro, cause she has the 80% Fire boss bonus, unlike Robot Crash the bonus for Nitro bosses. If we would buy the skins in this order, we would have the nitro boss bonus with Crash retro already.
Addendum: We now have new skins to compare! And honestly, I think we've got two that are even better:
1. Ripper Crash: This guy boosts Glowmatos by a whopping 80%! That turns what would be a scarce resource into one so abundant I don't know what to do with it all! It also means I only need to worry about Void Eggs and Stinky Shrooms for Oxide weapons. Speaking of which:
2. Steam Punk Coco: She showed up as a paid offer, boosting the Void Egg resource by 40%! Normally, there's enough of them in the Road to Ruin to just barely miss making three every time, meaning you'd constantly need to revisit it every time it refreshes to keep a steady stream of egg production going... but this would give you some much-needed breathing room! It becomes more important once you hit the 140 mark, as that's when the second coop can be upgraded to handle them. Or the 145, since that's when a new area with likely more such items will open (as well as a new need to use them). You might want to consider purchasing an Egg Slot around that point though, having to balance a consistent 3 Void Eggs AND needing to replenish Inferno and Frost is a bit much.
Of course the three Legendary Egg Resource skins are still highly valuable, but to use Nitro effectively you'll need a good boost in Nitro Shrooms. Guess Retro Crash's usefulness is better than I originally thought!
One skin that might sound useful but really isn't: Wumpa. This guy boosts your Wumpa intake, but... when are you going to be running through an area _without_ some other resource being boosted? You can always sell the extra after all, and that's much better than the measely 10% bonus! Survival Runs can get use out of it, but that's not enough at that rate. Better to wait for at least an Epic variant, if not a Legendary. And even then it won't be as good as the others I just listed.
