- Crash Bandicoot 4 its about time is out on PC, wanna know what that means? MODS! Today we are gonna be looking at a few different mods, ranging from basic retextures to full blown levels! Crash 4 should have lots of mods in store so I hope to do atleast one of these videos once a month!

Remember when people wished Tawna had her classic look? Well, with mods, it’s been made!
She still looks pretty awful even with that mud. That’s so weird I have been watching so much Yu-Gi-Oh GX lately. Chaz it up!

@@Glitchyy64 I have a reason why... Classic Tawna would never fit as a playable character in a platformer. So instead, TFB created an alternate version and looks like a hero in her own universe.
@@xFaisal_HK Yeah despite that I don't like crash 4 tawna she looks more badass and kind of fits this game's aspect if that makes sense.

I love the classic Tawna look with the Alt Tawna outfit and blue hair streaks.

I didnt notice it the first time because i was distracted by the hair, but watching again this mod did bring back a certain thiccness Tawna had in the originals...

Tawnas face doesn’t look quite right with the mod but the classic life icon looks awesome
That's what I was thinking, too. The hair looks great on the side view and back view, but the front view looks off.
I think it's probably because her head is small or narrow that the big hair doesn't fit quite right with this particular model of Tawna.
I really wish they kept her original skull shape. She seems too human. I don't mind alt-universe Tawna's hair on a Nitro-Fueled Tawna's face. But this mod is still really neat.
I wish they would’ve had a nitro fuel or insane trilogy skins from the beginning of the game. They had all these other skins and even different character model skins. This way it would’ve kept the continuity between the trilogy and the cart racer as well as the continuity from one of the cuttings they showed for the insane trilogy in crash four
I WISH they would port literally, *EVERY* mod here.... except the ones that don't belong to them....
Like *Nintendo's,* for example...?

@@paladinheadquarters7776 me too my friend.. the new one is fine. Even if it was amazing, which I don’t think it is, it affects the continuity! Anyone who says it doesn’t is objectively wrong. It affects the continuity just as much if they recast Iron Man before avengers endgame from Robert Downey Jr. to Tom Cruise or somebody else. I really hate what direction they went with Tawnas character as well.I thought there was a disappointingly small amount of hidden areas like they had and crash bandicoot two cortex strikes back. They had a really small amount of cut scenes in character in your actions. Aku aku was barely a character!
Man, the modders for the Crash 4 PC and Kingdom Hearts PC have been firing on all cylinders!

Wow! Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time has mod in the PC version, same thing as Spyro Reignited Trilogy has mod in the PC version.
And I really love love the PlayStation 1 graphic skin mod for Crash in the PC version of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, same thing that I love the PlayStation 1 graphic skin mod for Spyro in the PC version of Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

N.sane Tawna is the best Tawna in my opinion and this mod is great.
I feel certain features were pushed to get a message across....

The first mod is how crash shoulda have looked in this game from the start

I don't hate the Crash 4 design but I still think the N.sane trilogy/CTR:NF version is the best when it comes to HD version of the original design. I would have thought that one of the first mod for this game would be the N.Sane trilogy design for both Crash & Coco (and even Tawna). With all the alt in CTR that would be awesome.

Though the creator of the mod should have used crash 3 warped mug icon with crashes tounge sticking out instead of the life icon in crash 1 2 and 3 that's my only complaint and it's very minimal one at that

0:50 - Doubt. N.Sane Crash is even better. It is the closest you get in terms of remastering a pile of outdated polygon from the glorius days of the PlayStation. The same goes to crates (gosh I HATE Crash 4's crates. Too cartoony. Nothing in Crash should be THAT much cartoony imo. I still can't understand what was wrong with N.Sane? It's like how Crash should looks like HD in the first place! Just look at Banjo-Kazooie in Smash! I lost my mind when I see them! The Smash team didn't used the Bolts n Nuts look of them (because... it's a pile of shit...?))

That's Mario model is from Mario Sports Mix, a Mario sports game for the Nintendo Wii. It's cool that some Wii models look cool today in HD even.
Mario on Crash 4 is the funniest mod ever, atleast Miyamoto laught to see Mario in a Crash levels.

Now the unofficial Twinsanity remake is just a matter of time.
That will be a good idea for Tawna. But the real/original Tawna cannot being brave, she still as the damsel in distress and Tawna from Crash Bandicoot 4 is a alternate version from another dimension
Well they did alter her personality a bit in Crash N Sane Trilogy and was taken full force in CTR Nitro Fueled to be a bit more of a rebel and actually tried to fight her way out of Cortex's clutches and it could be possible in the Tawna bonus rounds that she actually escaped with Cortex swooping in to take her back to the castle, it's likely Cortex must've allowed her to escape to have her as Bait for the Bandicoot, luring him into more dangerous areas.
Her personality in Nitro-Fuelled showed promise that she is more than a damsel in distress.
Whether her original self would ever be used again in future mainline installments is up in the air at this point.
...also, I personally prefer her AU version.

Seriously, read the Wombat Bible. Universal already considered it hard canon for a lot of the backstory behind a few characters (namely Cortex), and it puts A LOT of context behind Tawna's character into retrospect. Trust me. She was never truly the damsel in distress to begin with.
@@ClankZappa85 yeah that too, I actually have the Crash Files ScrapBook that has that detail along with others and yeah I do think N Sane Trilogy Tawna has a great chance of showing up in a future Crash Installment, possibly just to have Her and Her Alt Self meet up for even just a gag, cause that Tawna is a elephant in the room when they put Alt Tawna in the game and revealed her.

If anything, when you apply the Wombat Bible to Tawna's character, Fridge brilliance starts to kick in. Ever notice how in both endings you NEVER see Crash free Tawna. In the basic ending after Cortex's direct defeat, Tawna is the one who goes to Crash on top of the blimp. He never freed her from any sort of cell as she seemed to be already freed to begin with.
And adding to the Fridge Brilliance; During the Cortex battle, all of Castle Cortex is on fire. The Bible mentioned that during the majority of her "captivity", Tawna inspired the rest of the (unseen) evolved animals to start a revolt against the evil scientist (Headcanon Alert: She more than likely persuaded Pinstripe to change his blind allegiance to the "Don of Doctors". His newly reformed self and their possible chemistry may have been the catalyst to them falling for each other) . That burning castle was more than likely THEIR doing, seeing as we never saw Crash cause any kind of significant destruction that would have led to such an event occurring.
And in the "Extra" Ending, we STILL never see Crash actually freeing her. She's right there with the buzzard in tow, waiting for HIM to arrive so they can flee the castle together.

The classic model mod is what the classic skin should have been from the get go.
There's a mod now that adds the crash on the run skin to the game. Honestly hope we eventually get to see all iterations of crash
One mod I would love to see would have to Crash in his Charles Zembillas concept art design
For the next mod of the month, I have a suggestion, search up ‘evil crash mod trailer’ on UA-cam, it shows an amazing mod for evil crash

One I'd love to see is giving Dingodile his classic flamethrower/grenade launcher as a weapon. It'd be interesting to see how that changes up everything!

It’s so weird they didn’t implement the first mod into the actual game in the first place. It would’ve probably taken no time and made a lot of people happy who don’t like such drastic character design changes, like me

Now I regret not having the PC version, it would be cool to play as PS1 Crash.
So custom levels are a thing...
Can already see all the original crash levels being re-created, and possibly even twinsanity since in the mod showcased here, a full 3d space platformer is possible with the game engine

I'm reading in the comments that alot of people miss his original iconic design now. Literally I've been saying this since before the game came out and everyone would yell at me and said I was crazy. I'm glad to see it was just the honeymoon phase talking. honestly I feel part of the reason why crash 4 sold so poorly is because the characters look different. I would have bought crash 4 day one if he looked like the original but in HD but I still havent bought it to this day.
The classic Tawna mod looks so good. Wish it was possible to make it work on console. Along with some of the skins like the Back to the Future skin for Crash.
Imagine if Street Fighter or MvC on Crash Bandicoot was real as mod, see the example :
- All playable characters able with some abilities such as Hadoken, Sonic Boom (for Crash) and Spinning Bird Kick (for Coco)
- ZERO/Alpha Counter at boss stage
- V-Trigger at boss stage
- Neo Cortex being replaced by Akuma
- Levels music swapped by 3rd Strike or MvC 2
There is already a mod that disables the yellow countour around the shadow?
Pretty sure that is just in the vanilla options menu.
@@Zenlore6499 no, in vanilla options you can only completely disadle the shadow under Crash, or play with the countour.

I want to see Coco wearing her old cropped star shirt and jeans from Tag team racing to Mind over mutant. Or maybe her Flower shirt and bright blue pants with a pink stripe. I liked Coco wearing those back then. I thought she looked more cute and beautiful in them.

The crash 1 model seems forgotten
I really hate how Bent crash's legs are in his idle animation and how he runs bow-legged hopefully they can fix the animation with a mod. not a big deal but I prefer his classic animations and character model personally
There is a Rayman mod which looks pretty good although his face is also very lifeless
