    Great motors for a 6s 7". Loads of thrust and decent flight times. Thank Gal. Love the channel. Stay safe.

    Wow, that's some motor. And as others have wrote, they have a strange sound. Found the motors website by accident. Thinking about doing a build. Hard to decide, though. Build or just buy. I like the Dji Mavic 2 Pro with Hasselblad camera, and it has a decent flight time plus range. Thank you for the detailed specs on the video. Was heavy into rc helis, and got rid of all. Still have my Taranis x9. Excellent radio that I have not used except to fly using an old copy of Phoenix Rc simulator.

      Thanks Joel. Well there is something special about building your drone, but if you need a compact drone for photography, the Mavic 2 (or 3 lol) will be a very good option.

      @@KremerFPV Once you start adding up the components for a build then the Mavic looks like the way to go. When I was doing the nitro helis, the fpv was expensive. At least a thousand for low resolution. Now it's amazing what's available for cheap. Long range, if you ignore regs :), and cheapo headset even.. Had a Hirobo Sceadu 50 which I strapped a milk crate to. Then strapped a mid size video camera inside the crate. Flew it way up until it was a centimeter dot in the sky. No fpv.

    Thanks for the tests! it will be enough ESC wire for the equivalent build 14 AWG size ? 14AWG can be handle 120 amp for short time load ?

      This ampmeter is completely off. You can know that just by seeing how little the battery sags with such a supposed high load.

    I get around 12 min on 7045 HQ biblade with 4s1p 2600 Li-Ion pack. DC7 frame, AUW around 850g. The same craft with xings 2306 1700kv I get better results (16 minutes flight time)

    • @KremerFPV
      @KremerFPV  3 роки тому

      Hi there, you can take the numbers in the video and multiply them by 1.6/1.3 to get an estimation of the amp draw that you will experience.

    8min on 3300 6S? That's strange. I use the 6s 2200mah CNHL, wich you also have, and can fly 15min with it. 7" Geprc mark4 HD with DJI, 2508 AirA Motors.
    It seems like those motors are way to big for 7" or something is wrong with your build. Is that amp reading correct? I see 8,5A when Hoover/Cruise while yours eats 20+A. Something definitely messed up

      That explains something :)
      But still very short flight time. 6s 2200 and 4S 3300 have same Wh, so should fly about same time when cruise.

      On my 5.1" I get 13mins with a 1800mah 6s at 60kph. Using 2306.5 1750kv motors on GF 51433 props. My next build is going to use the same setup with GepRC 1300kv 2306.5 on a 7" frame testing HQ 7x4.5x2 1vS, Dal 7056 tri and GF 7042 bi to see if I can beat that. The spec sheet claims 6 grams per watt efficiency which is the same as 2806.5 and half the weight.

    • @waldemarkraus2855
      @waldemarkraus2855 4 роки тому

      @@changeagent228
      7" on 2306.5 is overpropped. Lots of tests have been done. Lots of wobble and lack of response. Sweet spot is 2508 efficiency and performance wise on 6S. Big prop needs wide stator diameter to maintain enough torque.
      My 5" 2306 1750kv can fly the same time as your´s with that kind of "fat" battery, equipped with dji... no magic juice here, just prooven formula: 6S low kv
      You can try this setup (2306.5) on 7" if your main goal is maximum flight time without care about flight charactaristics. But going that route I would first try to shave off any weight you can (Another frame, wiring, 20x20 FC...) since weight is you biggest enemy :D Then run some LiIon batteries and you will see 30min flight times, without any special magic motors.
