Hypothetically, if her Knowledge of Good and Evil ascended to become a Goddess and her Eternal Life had become the core (the Heavenly Keystone), she could maybe assume the form of a Nahobino and claim the throne. Even if reincarnation isn't possible, I think it'd still be a fusion of Knowledge and Life if they act like substances. Right now, my theory Tao is actually the same as Rei in terms of her proportional balance of Knowledge and Life. Rei's Knowledge is stronger than Susano-o's Life. You know this because Rei maintains his human face and human proportions, whether it's Tsukuyomi or Susano-o, instead of Yuzuru's Nahobino form where you can't see his face. This applies to Yoko as well, her demon host actually being Lilith, where her Knowledge was the last thing standing, so Yoko became a Goddess.

Once this happened the actual Amaterasu demon/Proto-fiend was forced out of existence so Tao is all that was left of Amaterasu.
