I've been listening to Hed(pe) since their 1st album from the 90's (self-titled. If you haven't heard it give it a listen). They've gone through many phases but this album is fantastic! 1st time hearing it. I feel like they could have written this years ago, yet at the same time it's timed perfectly. It's a sound maturity that they've been lacking since their 1st three albums. Thank you so much for this post that hasn't been interrupted by commercials not once.

I’ve ridden to these guys since ‘97. The first album was so different and good it took me years (still not over it) to check out other albums. After almost 20 years I assumed Jared wasn’t making music anymore, then I found forever. Loved it, evolved, mix of beats, fire lyrics. And I love this album. Auto tune is cool, excerpts from books like ‘the science of getting rich’ confirms that these guys are still on my vibe. And auto tune, although they use it a lot on this album, isn’t new. Think ‘pac bell’. Rock on
Jared is so good. No matter if he uses Auto-Tune as a tool. Others use it because they're terrible singers. This guy doesnt have to prove his talent, we all know he digs it.

The first 13 years of albums are the soundtrack to my life. even after Westyle left i was totally down with the hed version of punk, clever songs with clever lyrics...but since 2010 I find fewer and fewer tracks I like, only 2 tracks from Truth rising, 0 from the one after that, and only 3 from Forever.....but im afraid i will not be searching out any of these songs to add to my collection, thank you guys for more great albums then any other artist I listen to, but Im afraid I must now let you go and hope one day you find your way home again, thank you for all the great memories
Once they started with that juggalo shit, their music slowly went downhill. Production,lyrics, musicianship, everything was going in a simple rap direction.

I have so much respect for hed. Met Jahred twice and blazed with him on the tour bus with opm. His music changed my life and my way of thinking. I agree on the overuse of auto tune but I will always be supportive of anything he does. Family4life!

I have mixed feelings about this album. However, of course I do feel that Jahred et al has every right to express him/themselves musically and intellectually any way he/they see fit. I also couldn't help but notice the voices of Jim Rohn and Earl Nightingale. Two speakers who's works, in my opinion, are commendable contributions to society at large. Just my 2 pence worth. These guys never disappoint. No matter how different from last album was. They do keep up with the times and if not that, their aHED of the game. Metal, punk, hip hop, rasta, to hard rock. Man they do it all authentically. Can't wait to see em' kill the stage again.
I had to decide 5 albums ago I wouldn't ever stop banging hed. It's gonna be hard to swallow and it leaves you feeling dirty, but that's practically what my personality is like so..
I hope this isn't the end. I loved the direction the last album was headed. Personally I love the hardcore hip hop metal songs when your flowing smooth but screaming at the same time like only (hed) P.E. can do. "Game Over"? Hope not. Good luck though.
Jahred, I have always loved your voice and the autotune is not appealing. A couple of the songs including Untouchable actually sound pretty good. I'm not a fan of the use of autotune in the whole album. I still love your original style and music and I'm happy that you guys can do what you want and not worry about what other people think you should be doing. I still support you guys and look forward to seeing you at SRH Fest 2019. You guys have always been great to your fans and spend time to meet with people and take pictures. It's very humbling to see people so down to earth and supporting of others.

You know that moment every rockstar says they had seeing someone preform and at that moment they knew they wanted to do that. Mine was with hed pe. In seattle at el Corazon. Although i havent become a rockstar i have always dreamed about it. I was about 12 in 02 and after their set i was walking to get some water with my dad when he says yo g check it out and points to jared walking beside us with some girls literally hanging off his arms and trying to jump on him lol he finally throws them off and breaks free then looks at me and says hey whats up man. As an adult that doesn't sound very exciting but to a 12 year old kid it was the coolest thing i had ever seen and have been listening to hed pe frequently ever since!

They mix it in with sex, drugs, alcohol and some bad ass riffs lol but the overall message is one of unity and hatred for the power that be and idk about yall but thats EXACTLY what I want and need to hear lol

These guys never disappoint. No matter how different from last album was. They do keep up with the times and if not that, their aHED of the game. Metal, punk, hip hop, rasta, to hard rock. Man they do it all authentically. Can't wait to see em' kill the stage again.
Hell yeah! I actually really like this. Evolution is inevitable and they did it well. I saw them a few years ago, still maniacs live.
I had to decide 5 albums ago I wouldn't ever stop banging hed. It's gonna be hard to swallow and it leaves you feeling dirty, but that's practically what my personality is like so..

I hope this isn't the end. I loved the direction the last album was headed. Personally I love the hardcore hip hop metal songs when your flowing smooth but screaming at the same time like only (hed) P.E. can do. "Game Over"? Hope not. Good luck though.

Jahred, I have always loved your voice and the autotune is not appealing. A couple of the songs including Untouchable actually sound pretty good. I'm not a fan of the use of autotune in the whole album. I still love your original style and music and I'm happy that you guys can do what you want and not worry about what other people think you should be doing. I still support you guys and look forward to seeing you at SRH Fest 2019. You guys have always been great to your fans and spend time to meet with people and take pictures. It's very humbling to see people so down to earth and supporting of others.

First song - great album.
You know that moment every rockstar says they had seeing someone preform and at that moment they knew they wanted to do that. Mine was with hed pe. In seattle at el Corazon. Although i havent become a rockstar i have always dreamed about it. I was about 12 in 02 and after their set i was walking to get some water with my dad when he says yo g check it out and points to jared walking beside us with some girls literally hanging off his arms and trying to jump on him lol he finally throws them off and breaks free then looks at me and says hey whats up man. As an adult that doesn't sound very exciting but to a 12 year old kid it was the coolest thing i had ever seen and have been listening to hed pe frequently ever since!

Guys cmon, hes not using auto tune as a crutch, hes using it for artistic flare. & wtf do yall expect them to do? Their last few albums didnt sell because everyone pirates it. They've got to do something to get air time and new fans in order to make money. They gotta eat too, their kids can't live off UA-cam likes. Sometimes you have to chnge with the tide or drown. If you love HED you know 99% of what they do is for the message, the lyrics. So take an open mind and listen to the message in the songs and then listen again, I promise you'll feel differently than you did. ❤ I love HED & everything they stand for and stand against. To me their music is more thn just the sound, although i fucking love the sound as well, but its about what they're conveying. The substance is in the words, the message, the declaration. I hope im making sense lol Basically, what sets them apart from all the other bands is their lyricism. They touch on polarizing topics no one else has the courage to talk about. They mix it in with sex, drugs, alcohol and some bad ass riffs lol but the overall message is one of unity and hatred for the power that be and idk about yall but thats EXACTLY what I want and need to hear lol
