i love (hed) p.e. saw them live at the TLA (Theatre living Arts) in Philadelphia. i had a blast! they opened up for papa roach. Blue October was also there but got booed off stage lol it was so funny. hed pe is my favorite! come to NYC 🗽

Dunford00 I know literally nothing about the guys personal life. I do know that the music was way better on those first three albums. It had more depth and complexity and the abrupt stops and builds were one of a kind. I asked MCUD at a show about him and he kind of gave off a shitty vibe and didn’t want to talk about it. Super nice guy and he was being way cool and signed my merch and was just BSing with me for a minute but then it seemed like it got awkward. I blew it lol. Duly noted, don’t ask Jahred about Wesstyle. That was the point of the comment I guess. Some stupid inside joke that only I got.
I hope dude is having an awesome time raising his family. It’s the right choice and totally worth it. I do wish we had gotten more than 3 albums but blackout was a downward trend like Metallica’s black album in my opinion and b2bx was really raw and powerful once you got used to the simplicity and just mcud and dj product
yeh he was a top guitarist. theres some good stuff on here though. Also loads of that cod reggae crap. I saw them a couple of years back when they were happened to be playing randomly in the city i was in. no first album tracks couple off broke and bob marley covers!!

I am a HUGE fan of Stampede, and I can really feel the same musical frameworks behind many of the songs here, just a completely different execution. Prefer Stampede, but LOVE this album.

Last Call and Greedy Girl are the best mixed songs on this! The punk stuff is...not my cup of tea!!!! I know it's hard to get the whole vibe off of Broke and whatnot. But damn, that album was legendary for me! It was literally the best album of it's time! I remember being in the band house, and we where all just blown away by it! Going to the local Chicago show where they blocked off the street and HedPE was playing in the middle of the afternoon at like 2pm or some shit, and Five Point Zero was there with Balistic and we where just tearing it up in the pit! Making out with some random chick, it was all good! Jahred threw his shit at us and I grabbed it but was all hammed so this bigger dude tried to take it from me, so I threw an elgatto upside his head, but he endured and head butted me, so I gnarled his hand a bit, and he kicked me in the the gov'ner...I ended up losing the damned white wifebeater. Fucking right in the gov'ner! I mean come one at least punch me in the nose! Right? Felt like I had to shit for 4 hours! Was hot as hell that day too! Dem where the times though!☺
Not having listened to previous couple albums and then listening to this, I gotta say the production is old school. The guitar sounds low tech, almost to the point of an amateur recording. I guess that's what they wanted but I'm surprised, coming from a band who really went overboard with overdubbing and layers in the old days.
Same to me, But after all ,music dont needs big prods to sounds good. Its a Fact =D

Which old stuff, exactly? Hed PE has 2 phases, the early stuff up through Blackout and then everything that came with Only in Amerika and onwards. To me it sounds like the first phase without the abrasiveness. I don't think its bad at all. Its just different from what you're used to.

Hes cool, doing his own thang.. ya kno"
And.. on i.g., during the "sum up the new track in 2 words".. i had (apparently) an unpopular opinion.. my to words "Do Better" then "wheres Product?", and finally "Not Sorry".. lol
Im hella glad that my first impression of the new album was correct, and theres nothing wrong with a little constructive criticism.. but whoever runs (hed)'s page deleted those posts.. and a couple of sycop(fan)hants comments with it.

@@synthealien9093 let's say if you put the dedication to Broke's 20th anniversary on the cover, you should know that ol' school hardcore fans are waitin' for some groovy nu-metal stuff with some interesting musical experiments and not, most of it all, bangers. Jared changed his style of vocals alot since even Only in America album. Man, I love his voice, i love him spitting raps, but last few years he turned to something like screaming reggae, and its kinda weird to hear old songs in this way. I understand that playing "Bartender" each and every show is making you hate it or trying to bring something fresh. But i just don't feel it. I also understand that age, views and other stuff are also changes and every singer/band wants to evolve. I do get it and i do respect it. But i just don't feel it.
And nevermind what i'll continue to support them
