Thank you Kris for 😊addressing this issue! I left my job this week because of burnout. I confronted the company about things that could and should be changed in order to preserve my peace of mind and have better productivity at work. Nothing changed in 2 years, so I found a smaller company to work for and hope to see better results!
Thanks Kris - This is thought provoking. Also many people are in jobs that don’t align with who they are, either philosophically or in natural aptitude, and that can also be exhausting.
This is how long covid starts. So glad to see you address this topic
This overworking of individuals extends to every aspect of life, including my volunteer position. Shuts down creativity, then the body metabolically.
Need to challenge the mental health 'help' we get from the medical community. Treat the whole person rather than giving medicine to treat a symptom ( like pain in my case). When you mask the symptom, it's like taking the battery out of the smoke alarm. You don't hear the noise, but the fire is raging.
Great discussion, thanks for sharing
Remember hope; after the darkest time the sun always rises ❤
I think primarily there is no meaning & people have no purpose in most jobs. It hits hard 😭
Our age of dopamine hits from social media is what’s burning people out.
Covid farts also, they hurt and are very tiring.
