- Riding the most fun dirt bike KTM have EVER made. The KTM EXC 150! I can't stop smiling every time I ride it. The 150cc engine just screams whenever you twist the throttle. I bought this bike brand new at the time and now I've had new suspension upgrades fitted, I really wanted to do another off road test. It's an exc /xcw model so it's an enduro bike at heart but how good will it be on the trails? Let's find out shall we.

Put a tsp kit on it I’ve got one on my 150exc and it runs amazing
Not sure on the 150's so don't quote me but maybe look at a FMF Gnarly header pipe. It should give more power down low but might steal power from the top. I beleive the Gnarly is made from thicker metal so can take more punishment from trail riding as well. That combined with a higher compression head could make for some serious upgrades? Just a thought.

Nah don’t start on the street it’s asking to die. Starting offroad is 100% the way to do it it’ll teach you cojtnersteering clutch control throttle control body position shifting footbrake, all of it

Can't thank you enough for these videos. Im in the US. Bought a 2024 150 xc-w because of your videos. Its incredible!
I put a bomber bar switch on (motominded). I liked its design more than the single switches.
I put a few pieces of protection on the bike because where I ride its fairly rocky and when you drop it, it tears stuff up (pipe guards, fork guards, etc.)
Currently looking at racetech suspension mods because stock the shocks are valved really hard (too much compression, not enough rebound - cant adjust enough).
Here in the US Jeff Slavens is a great resource for your build.

Putting a low-compression head on a 150 makes it a beast for going up hills

I got the 24 ktm 150 xcw, I love it, did fine with a paddle in the dunes even.
Suspension is everything,. I have a full Racetech race set up on the FE350, I had it done by A1 Racing here in Atlanta and it's epic, it's butter, it's impressive the levels of control it give you at any speed. It makes you feel like Haiden Deegan with the speed you can suddenly find. Point of all of this is that I also own the TE300 Pro and that has the stock With Power suspension. I Like it and for a lot of folks it would be fine. For me, because I am spoiled with my FE350 I notice the difference between Stock suspension that has been "setup" and a race setup from a race shop that has been SETUP. It's night a day, just no comparison. Suspension, get some and make it the goodest it can be. You will never look back.

I bought me self a little crf230f, my first trail bike, I need to fix a few thing but so far I'm having a blast with that little thing, is like riding my bicycle but now I can go uphill indefinitely without braking a sweat. now I don't need to keep trashing my t7 on my locals hills.
I got a lowered seat and pegs grips shifter oversized tank and brake peg helped me out so much also levers
Tsp power kit not the overrev kit with the pipe tho, makes it even more enjoyable! You can run them pretty hard, my 23 te150 has been pretty damn reliable! Main thing is keep the air filter super clean and lubed even grease the lip where it meets the air box and wipe it out really good when you clean it!
Please make a build for the 150. Its my favourite bike😊

You should ad a new exhaust i but a new tuning exhaust on my aprilia scooter and it did wonders i have never had a better launch off the line and it sounds better also

Have you ever had any engine malfunction light come up after my last ride on the 150 I had a crankcase pressure sensor fault light come up you reckon just faulty electrics
I’m not sure. Have a look into it for sure. Could just be a sensor fault but best to make sure

Did you ever get the standard suspension setup for your weight and riding style?
There is a huge difference between a 2023 model and the 2024 model suspension wise. 2024 far more superior.
24 is awesome from stock but this new suspension is another level

@@jakesmith9649you can buy them registered or to register an mx bike you’ll need a dating letter from manufacturer, road legal tyres, horn and brake light for the daytime mot. I did my YZ 125 it was a bit of a ball ache to be honest I’d just buy one registered if wanted a road legal one again.

I don't think a build is needed for the 150, every time you ride it all i hear is laughs and good riding on the pipe.
I say ride that 150 until it breaks before thinking of a build.
Rather build confidence in your gear choice and clutch control with that bike, in the long run you will have a better experience on any bike you ride after that.
Also viewer bias: no engine sounds better than a 2 stroke 150. 🤣
