Eyo! This channel is unfortunately discontinued, but! My new UA-cam channel @BootlegRenRenVA is up and running and it will have my voice acting content spanning from comic dubs, scene redubs, and original character work in between! Check it out: youtube.com/@BootlegRenRenVA
I guess you never heard of silk screening, just take your body suit to a place that does company logos ect. It will make your suit look much more professional.
@@lonknight3197 Oh yeah, I've been wanting to do a cosplay with silk screening for a long time! I have more plans like Spider-Man and more Nightwing looks, so I'll definitely try that out just to see how it compares!
Ey guys, just as a head's up, the fan art at 0:42 was drawn by Leandro Raimundo! So sorry I didn't post this in the video beforehand! Here's the dude's ArtStation! www.artstation.com/leandrotr
Im so happy I clicked on this video, I didnt think much of it from the thumbnail but this was awesome the whole way through. I look forward to watching more from you!
Heavily agree on the Arkham Knight Nightwing Design- please no one do that- but putting that aside...I love this video! I'm not making a Nightwing Cosplay anytime soon, but regardless, it was very entertaining and informative, and I feel like what's really great about it is that it has the capability for someone to follow along and apply this advice and such to other cosplay work and not just Nightwing in particular. I also feel like this video was a great time frame and I may not be a cosplay channel or anything, but I know how difficult it is to maintain people's attention throughout a whole video, so I wouldn't try to make it longer than it has to be and you did a perfect job of that. You explained things, I believe, just enough for anyone to follow and showed a lot of visuals, which are extremely helpful in following any tutorial while also explaining the mistakes you made, so the viewer can watch out for those when making their cosplay, which is incredibly important. (It's also great to include those warnings about cons, especially the cup thing, because that happens way too often where these guys will show up in spandex but not wear one- lmao-) Overall, I think you did a wonderful job with this video and the cosplay, and I can't wait to see more content and hopefully be able to apply it to when I'm able to start making my own suits and props!
Really good cosplay but i would recommend to switch up some texture to add depth to the suit, but otherwise its a simple yet effective Nightwing, good job!
Of course! Improvements will always be made on this costume. I'm actually changing out the soles to be a connected shoe rather than just the water shoe soles glued onto the fabric! I'm thinking of adding some texture on the hands because it was a pain to use my phone while at Holiday Matsuri. Thanks for the intel, glad you enjoyed the video!
I have a very thin strip of elastic measured to half of my head measurement; then I just attached the two ends on each side of the mask, and I hide the strap with my hair! If you have short hair or you just want a very invisible strap, I recommend thin, black elastic. I use white for my mask but maybe in the future I'll change it!
