      Hey Space Ghost! I had actually saved your comment from last time so that I’d remember to have a look at my rear brakes the next time an opportunity presented itself. No donation required, I just need to find the time to have a look as it’s probably not the quickest job to do. Could you tell me what problems you’re having with your bike? I might be able to suggest something in the meantime 👍

      @@MechitBetter Thanks buddy you are a gem & really appreciate your response.
      Its the rear brake shoes that need replacing. I have watched other videos where it simply a case of removing the exhaust guards and 2 screws underneath the bike to actually remove the exhaust to get to the back wheel and remove it to access the shoes.
      However, underneath (where the bolts hold the exhaust in place) it seems as though there are cables that feed into the exhaust and not entirely sure what they are there for. Its pretty daunting under there compared to other scooters. Any advice would be awesome.
      Thanks again 🙂

    • @MechitBetter
      @MechitBetter  5 років тому

      No worries. I’ve just uploaded a video for you. The only wire I can see down underneath where the exhaust mounts is for the lambda sensor. It should all be clearer in the video. Let us know if you have anything different 👍

    • @MechitBetter
      @MechitBetter  3 роки тому

      A little extra wear on one side is fairly normal; but it might be worth stripping down and cleaning your caliper. We haven’t made a video showing how to do this on the Suzuki Address, but we made on for the Kawasaki GT750, and it’s pretty much the same method for both bikes >>

    • @MechitBetter
      @MechitBetter  5 років тому

      Hi. My best guess if you don’t have independent bike stores near you would be the Suzuki dealer. The parts might be a bit more expensive but at least they’ll have them.
      It is possible to use bigger tyres, but they slow the bike down quite a lot. I have no experience of doing this. Some of the guys in the owners group have done this and might be able to advise you better than I can. Here’s the link.

      I tried a slightly bigger size but not worthy, you'll regret it. The bike as it comes fitted from Suzuki brand new, is providing the best performance of its highest riding quality which is also certified, trust me, by keeping the ratio of the components related to the size & features! Keep in mind this is a LIGHT, slim, cheap bike concept, so... stick on this idea.

    • @MechitBetter
      @MechitBetter  3 роки тому +1

      I have tubeless and tubed bikes. I don’t mind either so long as I don’t get a puncture. A simple nail through the tyre is much easier to fix on the tubeless tyres though, so I guess tubeless for that reason 👍
