Just wanted to say that I'm so, so, so thankful for your videos! They're amazing and helped me go from a Grade 7- to 8+ in three months! So yeah, thank you and keep up the amazing work🙏
Can you please do more of these for Jekyll and Hyde, Macbeth anf Inspector Calls and update your playlists so the videos are easier to find. Thanks so much. 👍🙏
I have another question if I can't remember quotes then instead of using quotes if I use reference then will I get same marks? How many quotes do I have to use to get grade 6?
Thank you so much! I use your videos as a main way of revision and I have an ACC coming up next week. Are there going to be any more releases on ACC between now and then?
Quick question, what about tiny Tim? Was he not very sick and the rest of bob cratchits family just surviving? Does this not in turn make Scrooge as greedy as the rest of society as he knows that he is suffering so much?
He changes in Stave 3 as soon as he sees Tiny Tim's predicament. Dickens' point is that Bob receives the going rate - what employers everywhere are paying leads to the deaths of thousands of Tiny Tims
HOW IRONIC THAT SCROOGE WOULD BE RIGHT AT HOME IN THIS ERA AS GREED HAS HIT ALL THOSE NEWLY MINTED TRILLIONAIRES WHO MAKE MILLIONS HOURLY, YET BILLIONS STILL NEVER EAT DAILY!!!
Sorry. Though I will say the most interesting part of the play is the killing of Cato the poet. It is both comic and tragic. And of course the play is topical in Elizabethan England because everyone is worried what will happen when Elizabeth dies without an heir - they fear civil war.
Watch my video on Scrooge and take notes on anything you can link to hope (clue: pretty much anything can be linked to hope). Start with what Dickens is hoping to persuade his readers
this doesnt make sense at all lmfao. if scrooge wasnt greedy, he would have given money to the two men asking for charity, or at least turned them down less harshly.
Imagine a greedy person who loves food. Would they buy a lot of it and then not eat it? That would make no sense. So, what motivates Scrooge to have so much money is also not greed.

There is no set number of quotations, but 8 is my rule of thumb. References count.

I'm not sure. Check out my playlist and let me know if there are any topics that are not covered.
